Dream view directly on Lake Constance in the city center with immediate proximity to the lake at the marina

We feel we are so fortunate to have found this accommodation. Everything was perfect. The apartment was light, clean and spacious and had an amazing view of the Bodensee and Alps beyond. Everything one could possibly need was provided. The location was so convenient, directly across from the lakeside promenade. It was just a couple of minutes walk to a well stocked supermarket, bakery and bus and train stations. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and look forward to staying here again.

I had a great stay in the apartment. It is very well-appointed, with everything one needs for cooking--appliances and utensils etc. The apartment feels spacious, has very nice light and a fabulous view of the Bodensee and the Alps. The location is excellent--very near the train station, with a supermarket around the corner. The bed was firm and comfortable. It was super convenient to have a washing machine and dishwasher in the apartment. I would definitely stay here again!

This was a great apartment for visiting the Southwest part of Germany! The location is across from the lakefront with a wonderful biergarten very close and even a Putt-Putt golf course (that serves bier). The marina was in full view from our little balcony and the distant view of the Swiss Alps was breathtaking. The location within a block from grocery, post office, and train station was very nice. It was a very nice 5 minute walk through the lakefront park to the main part of the waterfront with many incredible restaurants (if needed, ask for English menus as we did & most had one). Location…Location…Location. This apartment is perfect for any visit to Friedrichshafen. Stroll the lakefront to see a lot of great sites from one end to the other. If you are staying here for any reason, this is a great place to stay with better features than a hotel room and from what we found it is much less expensive! Take the ferry to other towns and don’t miss the catamaran to cross over to Konstanz. We spent most of a day walking the old streets of Konstanz and enjoying the scenery and shops. I loved returning to the lakefront for a long dinner and a few biers! One cultural warning if you come from the United States as we did, you WILL have to ask servers to give you the ticket at the end of a meal – they do not want to rush you. The apartment is well stocked and the washer was a great way to reduce our packing needs. We left cloths on the drying rack and they were dry by the time we returned each day. The one possible downside is if the weather is overly warm as there is no A/C – we had GREAT cross-ventilation so it was good for our visit even with upper 70’s (F) temperatures. The provided fan was perfect for that weather. The bathroom had all the small stuff covered – even Qtips. Dieter and Gabriele have shampoo and shower gel provided as well as laundry soap and softener. The towels were nice and fluffy!! And, a big thank you for the wonderful bottle of local wine and a couple bottles of water in the refrigerator when we arrived.
