Downtown Top Floor Apt With A View

Very close to seafront and aeroporto bus stop. The bacony has great views across the ocean. The internal layout is very good with a nicely furnished living room dining room. The kitchen is old but has what you need. Joao was very helpful.

Great downtown location to enjoy Funchal and the island of Madeira. 2 bedrooms, 2 bath. No AC, only 2 fans provided. Even in October, it was quite warm. Bedrooms at back of apartment get very little air circulation. Host lives very close and was responsive to our questions. Kitchen pans and utensils need replacing/updating. If you eat at restaurants, no worries, lots of choices.get very little air

Exactly as advertised. Great location very convenient to everything. Clean, nice veranda with a great view. Spacious. The only negative was the construction directly adjacent to the location. It was noisy during the day. Overall a great stay!

This property is well situated 2 mins from Cathedral and the sea.The property was spotless, owner friendly and helpful,beautiful terrace and view but please be advised building work still in progress.

The apartment was lovely and we especially liked the big balcony looking out over the harbour. Unfortunately there was a big construction project across the street which made it noisy during the day but that is a temporary thing. The location is really great -close to restaurants, grocery stores etc.

This apartment is the best place to stay in Funchal if You want to avoid big hotels experience! It is quite and very cozy with lovely terrace on the roof with amazing view of the ocean and the port area. It is located in the very centre of the city with great restaurants around. And the owner is polite, kind and very helpful. Amazing amazing experience! Enjoyed my stay very much!

We have found that a stay on Madeira is best from the central position of Funchal. It always seems to have the best weather as well. Transport links are on your doorstep with plenty of shops, entertainment and restaurants This apartment fits the bill with a great view over the harbour.

Four of us 50 something adults stayed at Jaoa's place for a week. It is perfectly located right in the centre of Funchal which gives you access to all the sights, shops and restaurants etc. The apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable and has every amenity you would need. It has the absolute bonus of having a large sun terrace that gets the sun from morning to evening, a rare find in a city! Jaoa was always available in his shop if you needed anything, but we didn't have to bother him. We would certainly recommend Jaoa's place for a stay.
