Downtown Asheville Hideaway

Enjoyed our stay. The Hideaway was ideally located for our activities in Asheville.

Fully equipped kitchen, dog friendly, clean. The only surprise is that they charge extra daily for minor children. Just be aware if you are bringing children you will pay 25/day PER CHILD. Tough for families, but they said most are just adults that come. So the price/value is good if you don't have kids.

Very peaceful and relaxing place to stay near downtown. Great hosts!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The hosts are always available and make everything comfortable for your stay. The wife had a home away from home while I worked. While you are visiting Asheville whether for work or for pleasure truly consider this apartment.

Very comfortable inside and parking right at our door is superb It was easy to walk into town. Our dogs were also comfortable and well behaved. We brought extra blankets to make sure our dogs did not harm furniture. The entire unit was very clean and well stocked. The beds and shower are wonderful..

Host was welcoming, attentive, and flexible. Even though it was a downstairs apartment we felt like we were in our own world. The amenities offered were great. The goats were a fun surprise. I would return in a heart beat.

Host was communicative, property was very clean, location was in a quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to downtown. Will definitely consider property again when in the Asheville area.

The check-in process was incredibly simple once explained by the host. The kitchen had several items that we had forgotten or didn't even think about, so that was a plus. The beds were incredibly soft and welcoming. They were even easy to strip, which was a part of the simple check-out process.

Our Host, John, was very responsive prior to our arrival and once we were on site. Check-in was simple & smooth. Our accomodations were Excellent. Very Clean (even my wife was impressed) And Very comfortable. Bath towels were Luxurious as was the Bed and many layers of blankets as it was a bit chilly during our stay. John was Great and our stay was really First Rate. I will stay here again & again when in Asheville. Thank You John for such a positive experience.

The Hideaway in Asheville was clean, comfortable, cozy & convenient to the downtown area. Well stocked kitchen, bath amenities and a very comfortable bed! Easy check in and checkout! We will most certainly stay here again!

This place was super clean and very cozy! My husband and I spent time here for our Ashville visit, and the communication with John was easy and detailed. They left a sweet message of welcome for us in the kitchen, and they had many details such as a fan and space heater in the bedroom in case they are needed. Would definitely recommend for a nice quiet stay!

John and Donna’s Hideaway is clean, spacious, and very close to all things in Asheville. The bed and couch were very comfortable and there were many extras included….coffee, tea, shampoo, soap,etc. They do all they can to make sure your stay is comfortable. We would surely stay there again when returning to Asheville.

Nice, quiet neighborhood. Very cute, convenient, walk-out basement unit. 2 full bedrooms. Not suitable for families with young children because of the electric fencing and steep slopes.

We love to come to this homestead. So comfortable and cozy.. It is in walking distance to downtown Asheville! So much to see and do and this property is close to everything! We love seeing the goats. The host are very nice.

My Aunt and I loved staying here. The apartment was so comfortable and I wanted to bring the sofa home with me. It WAS so comfortable. The home was close to everything we wanted to visit during our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Very easy to check in. Quiet neighborhood near downtown Asheville. Only stayed one night, but it worked for us. It is a 2 bedroom 1 bath apt with a large couch in living area. Host lives upstairs and want to ensure you have a good stay.

What a great property. So close to all of the goings on downtown but in a small neighborhood, so quiet and peaceful. Probably the cleanest property I have ever visited -- sparkling clean! Super comfortable beds and large and well equipped kitchen and nice living area. Great owners, very responsive for the single question we had. Definitely will return if I visit Asheville again. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location in Ashville and very nice spacious house, very well equipped and comfortable. Walk to dining, close to groceries, close to Biltmore, easy access to highways when driving somewhere remote to hike. If you go up the hill in the neighbirhood, there are good views of Ashville and the mountains. The house had everything, even an ice pack in the freezer to keep our lunch cool in the cat when we were going hikng. The owners live on site which I quite liked - good to have them readily available if needed (though we ended uo not needing their help). At the same time it is a saparate entrance, so we never stumbled into them and it all felt very private. Perfect accommodations. Thank you so much!

Nice property not far from the downtown area.

John and Donna are excellent hosts with superb communication. Their apartment is very roomy, well stocked, close to downtown, and lovely. We had a great time and would highly recommend this vrbo to anyone.

Cannot recommend staying here enough. The location is hidden/private but still within downtown Asheville. Place was clean and spacious. Hosts were great and loved how they had a book of recommendations of what to do in Asheville. First time visiting Asheville and it was amazing. Thank you!

The Appartement was just Great. Everything was in Walking distance, we barely used the car. We enjoyed the wildlive around the House, and took many pictures. In the Appartement we found Everything needed was provided. John & Donna were very thoughtful and we enjoyed staying at their Home.

The property is in a wonderful location, with a short walk to downtown. Lots of room to stretch out and our dog loves staying there and walking downtown with us. We have stayed here twice and have already booked a third stay!

If you're looking for a cheap yet luxurious stay with easily drivable, and in some cases walkable, distances, look no further! The place was clean and incredibly well taken care of. Comfy beds, massive kitchen space, and almost every amenity you need!

This unit was spotless, well appointed, and very comfortable. It is cold in there, and you have to dress appropriately to be comfortable. The floors are painted cement, so heavy socks, or slippers should be packed! I loved having the goat experience outside my doors. I would definitely stay here again. The owners are very receptive to communication and feedback.

The location is very close to downtown Asheville. Parking is very convenient, with private and easy access to the bottom of a split-level home. The living quarters were spacious and tastefully appointed. We would not hesitate to return.

Quiet, comfortable and conveniently located. 15min walk to the Orange Peel, 15 minute walk to downtown.First time visiting Asheville, we'll be back soon!

Good people to work with.

The unit was in a great location close to everything so very convenient. It is very neat, clean and beautifully decorated and very roomy for just me and my husband. The host was very helpful and responsive to our needs. The only complaint would be that it was very cold and there is no thermostat in the unit. We happened to be there during a very cold time and needed to rely on a space heater.

Had a few last minute questions on a big holiday and they were answered very quickly and helpfully. Thank you!

This property is in a terrific location; 10-minute walk to downtown for shopping and restaurants, and easy to get to the Blue Ridge Parkway or other nearby hiking areas. Property was super clean and comfortable, and everything we needed was supplied. We'll definitely stay here again!

This was our second vacation to this tranquil place We loved seeing the goats again and the turkeys. . We had a wonderful time. We are all planning on visiting again next year. See you next year!

The accommodations were really nice and close to all we wanted to do during our stay. A question we had about lighting was answered quickly and all went well the rest of the stay.

We enjoyed our stay which was centrally located to the areas we wanted to visit.

The apartment was very clean and well kept. Close to everything but private and peaceful. We hope to return.
