This is a brand new listing to Airbnb and we chose to go with a color theme that led us to name this apartment the Peach Pad. The original doors and transom windows are all painted a beautiful shade of peach called Romance by Sherwin Williams and the bathroom and fireplace has a fresh coat of Rojo Red. The tiled basket weave mosaic floor in the bathroom and white subway wall tile is original with new plumbing fixtures. Brand new light fixtures throughout the apartment add a bit of class and elegance to each room. Bright new rugs in gorgeous shades of peaches and patterns rest upon the newly refinished original white oak flooring. The kitchen has brand new white shaker style cabinets and quartz counter tops. The laundry room has brand new machines and doubles as the back entry / mud room. We are totally in love with the window curtains in the living areas and the woven wood shades. This apartment gets a ton of natural light but each space has room darkening shades or curtains for maximum privacy. Enjoy a cup of freshly ground coffee or a glass of wine out on your front covered porch that overlooks gorgeous Monroe Street or sit out back on the new shared patio and meet your neighbors from the apartment upstairs. This apartment also has a dedicated office space if your visit brings you here for work or school. There is so much to enjoy about this apartment, it's too much to list!

We live about 15 minutes away from the apartment and are accessible by the Airbnb app, phone or text during your stay.
This is a brand new listing to Airbnb and the neighborhood is situated close to USC (8 mins), Fort Jackson (10-15 mins), Williams Brice Stadium (6 mins), Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center (11 mins) and 5 Points (5 mins). You will see tons of walkers, joggers and cyclists in this neighborhood so feel free to lace up those sneaks and take a run or a leisurely stroll. This neighborhood is extremely quiet - except when there is college football on (you may hear a few cheers as we did when USC football beat Georgia a couple of weeks ago). Devine Street and Rosewood Drive restaurants, shopping and entertainment are extremely close to the apartment and there are many walkable options as well. Walgreens, CVS and Publix are located nearby, along with Whole Foods, EarthFare, Bi-Lo and Food Lion.
Uber and Lyft are the best options for getting around without your vehicle. Otherwise, there are options for groceries and dining within walking distance to the house.
This is a downstairs apartment and the upstairs unit will likely be rented during your stay as well. You may be able to hear footsteps, muffled voices and television sounds from the neighboring apartment. Quiet hours are from 9PM - 8AM every day.
Also, this is a 1940s apartment and the front and back steps to the porches are a little steep - please take great care when going up and down.

The place is really comfortable, cozy, the only two things that could of improved was the shower curtain had a little bit mold. When we tried to use the drier it wasn't working, when we call the owner or whatever# they gave us to communicate any thing they asked us to move the switches ourselves, it not being my home i wouldnt want to mess with the switches. It didn't seem appropriate for us to do that. Other than that cozy and well decorated home. Would return.
Perfect house for our 2 night stay. Very comfortable and in a charming quiet neighborhood. Had a southern classic feel to it. Great communication and very easy to book. Close to Fort Jackson. Would definitely recommend this house.
The house fit our needs perfectly! We were a couple streets over from family and could easily walk back n forth. As mentioned in description you can hear footsteps upstairs but it did not hinder our stay. There were lots of nice touches in the apartment. I always bring my water purifier pitcher when I travel and this trip I forgot it and was pleasantly surprised to find a brita in the refrigerator. We would definitely rent again on future visits.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. Very clean and looks just like the pictures. Host was very easy to communicate with. Hope to stay here again sometime!
Wendy was extremely EXCELLENT and professional. Our stay was exceptional . Will be staying again
The home was decorated beautifully and was incredibly clean. Would definitely stay again. The only thing to note is the noise from upstairs. We were woken up quite a bit by the voices and foot stomps, but earbuds would have fixed it for sure! They provided noise machines which was a nice thought. Would recommend to all
