Destin West Gulfside V305 - Vibrant Tropical Beach Getaway Including 2 Chairs and Umbrella

Loved the convenience

It was perfect for a couple! There's a 2 burner stove top but no oven. We didn't plan to cook anyway. We ate breakfast & lunch in the room. It didn't have much silverware. I think it only had 2 small spoons along with 4 forks & knives. We've stayed at that resort before. We liked the lazy river after a day at ths beach. It's great having beach service included! Very short walk to the beach.

It was clean. The location was great. Several easy repairs could be made. The A/C not working when we arrived was pretty bad. We reported it the afternoon of arrival (tried to give it time to cool) called again the next morning, then maintenance finally arrived around 11 the next day & fixed the air. The actual resort, location, & cleanliness of the unit were great though.

Perfect from start to end! Will definitely stay again.

It was a great place, great location, very hard to find to check in, no TV would work, bed was very hard and you felt the springs but all and all we appreciated the stand and would come again.

We have stayed at Destin West for 10yrs and in this particular room 3 or 4 times. This time was awful. The sofa bed is broken and not even attached to the coach so it is not useable. The couch does not sit right because the bed is broken. There was no toaster to be found. The microwave is not a conventional microwave. The balcony door is broken so if you open it then you can not shut it. The room did have beach service, but it is advertised to have a balcony box with chairs, umbrellas, and toys. We planned to use those chairs so we didn’t have to wait on beach service. Of course, there was nothing in the balcony box. I reached out immediately and gave them permission to come into the room. I sent them pictures and still nothing was done. I received 1 call while I was on the beach and when I tried to call back, it wouldn’t receive calls. Two days went by and nothing was done. Then I randomly receive a message that they are sorry and are just going to credit me $75. I told them that that wasn’t enough considering my kids had no where to sleep, but of course they did not respond.

This is a perfectly located condo. Super easy access to the beach, pools and the Boardwalk restaurants and shopping. The condo includes two rental chairs in the beach which is worth over $200. Super communication- text and phone. Very clean.

Patio door was broke on our arrival and one chair had blood like stains on it. Couch had stains on one cushion.bedroom dresser missing knobs/handles. Otherwise great place to stay. Friendly staff on sight.

My friends and I liked this property! There were 3 of us, so we had 2 people in the bed and we brought an air mattress for the 3rd person due to reading reviews about the uncomfy couch mattress. It worked well and there was a perfect amount of space for the 3 of us. I honestly thought the property would be smaller! It was nice to be able to sit out on the patio. Perfect distance of a walk to the beach. Couldn't have asked me a closer distance. I thought the place was pretty clean and I didn't smell any weird odors like previous reviews have said. The only issue we had was that they only gave us 2 wristbands instead of 3. It took a while to get a hold of someone from the Vacasa company. Luckily, no one was checking wristbands at the beach or pool when we went. We eventually got our 3rd wristband. It was just annoying having to text and call the company a bunch of times since we had the right amount of people on the reservation. Anyways, I've been to this resort 2 times before and I would definitely recommend staying here. The lazy river and hot tubs are very relaxing! We went during our spring break trip and it wasn't that busy, but definitely would be busier in the summer time.

The property is always clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The decor was wonderful especially the wall looked like a backdrop, took many pics with it.. The hula hut look was a perfect touch and the balcony set up was awesome as well! Color schemes perfecto! Very comfy and clean. Location location location Superb! Walking distance to the pier and Boardwalk! Definitely be back! Ty! ??
