Desert Jewel in Red Rock country

It was a little slice of heaven! Beautiful views, quet, perfect for our two doggies.

My spouse and I enjoyed staying at Desert Jewel for many reasons. It is a beautiful property with unique decor. The host was welcoming upon arrival as well as throughout our stay. The property had an amazing view of the Red Rocks. It is about 10 to 15 minutes from shopping and dining - close enough yet far enough to be away from it all.There is an outside sitting area and a hot tub which we used and enjoyed. We were even invited to a dinner on our last night which we thoroughly enjoyed. We recommend staying here and would stay here again.

This was the perfect place for two of us to stay. Great location and Carolyn was a wonderful host, very informative about the area.

Great location with stunning views! We were able to access all the sights very easily and good food just minutes away without fighting the downtown traffic.

This property is so beautiful and welcoming. We spent a week here and enjoyed every moment. The home is close to every Sedona attraction. Carolyn welcomed us upon Check in and explained all the features of the home. I think she could sense our need for privacy yet she responded to every message I sent through vrbo very promptly. I am not a hot tub user but after a day of hiking it was our favorite part of the night. We like to cook our own meals and although the kitchen was not large, we found it had all we needed to cook. The grill on the patio was also a bonus.

Beautiful place that surpassed our expectations!

Really enjoyed our stay on the Red Rock Loop Trail. The unit was cozy and decently equipped for our needs. The location is excellent - looking across at Cathederal Rock and very quiet. Nice outdoor space to enjoy the sunsets. Access to the town was straightforward and we managed to avoid the bottlenecks down-town. Numerous good restaurants and three supermarkets within a short drive. Carolyn was very friendly and responsive.

We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Just outside of the busy areas with an awesome view of Cathedral Rock. We would definitely stay here again.

This studio apartment has everything you could possibly want, and the host Carolyn is a gem - very communicative and accommodating with suggestions, local advice, or property issues, but also unobtrusive. This property has the best view of Cathedral Rock in town, and watching the sunrise and sunset from the hot tub is such a treat, and the stars are bright for a late-night soak too. During the low season, every hike, restaurant, shopping trip, and view point was within an easy and picturesque 20 minute drive, and you can even walk to Crescent Moon Ranch and those trails straight from the property. The king size bed is so comfortable, the kitchenette has every appliance you could need, and the bathroom even has a heat fan for warming up after a hot tub dip on those cold desert nights. Carolyn even has a Red Rocks parking pass you can use! This property is truly perfect, and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on future visits. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed the patio view while cooking on the gas grille. Close to 2 great state parks and numerous hiking opportunities also. Definitely will be back!

The property was just as described. We appreciated the decor & small details including fresh flowers. The host greeted us upon arrival & offered some advice for hiking spots in the area. Great location close to trails. i would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Sedona.

Every detail is magical. The view is amazing, the hot tub was amazing. The bed was very comfy. The hostess was great. I would love to stay here again.

From the moment we arrived we knew this place was special. Perfectly located! Convenient to restaurants, shopping, and a number of hiking trails yet just far enough away to enjoy the quiet and beauty of Sedona (Cathedral Rock is directly across the street!). Carolyn (the host) was available to answer all our questions and kind enough to offer great suggestions for hiking and dining in the area. (Javelina's Cantina for happy hour was a treat after a day of hiking.) The property is a great mix of eclectic Sedona with a homey feel. Super clean and comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. With so much to see and do in Sedona, we'll be back. And this is where we'll stay!
