Deluxe Penthouse Apartment by the Sea, 3 Large Terraces, Free Wifi

I had a fabulous time and would love to go back. Everything was as described. I did yoga on the roof deck and looked out at the water — it was so nice. The town is lovely. The host and property manager were super responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend!

We had a very nice and comfortable week in Jamie‘s apartment at the beginning of January. On sunny days we happily enjoyed the private rooftop deck. The apartment has a top location in the center of Cabanas close to the promenade. Several cafes and bars and some restaurants were open. The apartment was exceptionally clean and check-in/check-out with Wave Algarve was easy.Communication with Jamie was very friendly and we felt very welcome.

This wonderful apartment is exactly as advertised. Jamie is a fabulous host and the lovely gentleman from Wave was there to check us in. We had everything we needed for our month long stay including A/C, washer, full kitchen and 3 choices of outdoor spaces to enjoy. Cabanas is such a picturesque village with a good variety of restaurants and shops. The short trip in the water taxi to the beach is very inexpensive and the wow factor of the beach when you arrive is amazing!We’re already talking about our next trip. Thanks again Jamie.

Excellent communication with Jamie regarding all aspects of our stay at Cabanas. The apartment was well equipped, comfortable and had everything you need for a 'home from home' holiday. Plenty of supermarkets and restaurants within easy walking distance with good choice of food and drink.Overall, a lovely apartment with excellent facilities and location within the Ria Formosa National Park. This gave us a new and different outlook on the Algarve after visiting a couple of times. A much quieter and less busy location if you don't like the more noisy Albufeira, for example, you won't be disappointed.

We spent a wonderful two weeks in Jamies appartment, centrally located in Cabanas and close to all amenities (restaurants, the promenade and the boat quay to Ilha de Cabanas). Reception on site by Wave Algarve was on time and very friendly, same as the late and unbureaucratic departure. Thanks, Robbert !The appartment was clean and spacy for the two of us and the aircon in living room and bedroom proved essential during these days of extreme heat (38C), as did the sun shades on the balcony and on the roof top terrace - the latter we absolutely enjoyed most ! Fantastic mattreses (rather firm) ensured a pleasant sleep.A recently modernized shower is much better than the old bath tub shown in the actual pictures. Kitchenwise, the equipment may need some refurbishment, but everything necessary for two persons was available and in proper condition, except for a dirty frying pan in the cupboard.As usual in many southern countries, there were plenty of ants in the kitchen, marching in from a tiny hole in the living room's washboard. That surely will need some attention to be sealed. There have been NO ants or other insects in the sleeping room or bathroom.Definetely, a recommended holiday accomodation !!!

We booked this property for a 10 night break in the sun. The property met all our expectations. Considering how close the property is to the waterfront it has amazing amount of outside space . Ideally located for access to restaurants and bars and also within 2 minutes walk of a Spar supermarket stocking all the things you are likely to want for a self catering break. Wave the agents meeting us on check in (as Jamie the owner was away) were really helpful and accommodating and it was all very simple as was the check out process. Thanks to Jamie for allowing us to use your property and thanks again to Wave for your professionalism.

Excellent, enjoyed living in the heart of the cabanas Portuguese community. Close to restaurants, cafes and short walk to boardwalk. Accommodation well suited 2 persons and exploring. Decks were great and as asvertized. Particularly the roof top.

We couldn't be happier with our stay at this property...ideal couple's apartment in a great location. The terraces were especially appreciated.Finally, Jamie, our host, was ideal. She had provided the apartment with a binder dealing with a wide range of information and suggestions. The bottle of white wine in the fridge and a rendezvous for coffee were most appreciated.

Great location- all you need by- street parking safe and accessible- good restaurants across the street and around the corner- wonderful boardwalk- make sure you go to cabanas beach across the harbour by boat for 2 euros per person return- Spar is a great corner store with all you need including wine for 1 euro per litre that is very good- weather in February and March this year was iffy and locals thought so too- hostess very friendly and helpful- cold wine and water greeted us on arrival- Robert went out of his way to help us- a wonderful stay at an exceptional location - highly recommended and we would go back

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Jamie’s place for two weeks end of January/beginning of February. It is accurately displayed in the listing. The outdoor spaces were our favourite parts of the apartment. The apartment was clean, well-maintained and comfortable. Jamie, the owner, communicated clearly and was available if we had any concerns (which we did not). We would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Perfect house in a Central location with sun all day long and a choice of large outsideterrsces

A nice, clean and wel equiped appartment, situated in a vivid street, just one street behind the boulevard. Nice restaurants and places to visit nearby (Cabanas, V.R.S. Antonio, Tavira, Olhao and Faro)

Perfect location for us (couple in our 60s) everything you need within easy walking distance. Apartment although dated is well appointed and outdoor space is plentiful and varied. We thoroughly enjoyed our week long break thank you Jamie.

Cabanas was lovely. Location was excellent for restaurants, snack bars and supermarkets. The place had a nice vibe. The accommodation was spacious, lovely balcony plus a roof terrace ideal for sunbathing. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to friends and family.

Bright and airy, easy to just lounge around for the day. The location and views really capture the vibe of Tavira. Well equipped kitchen. Highly recommend it!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable.Right i the centre of Cabanas and a 5 minute walk to the boats to the beach. The apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures, check in and out were very easy. The terraces were a great place to enjoy a coffee in the morning and a glass of wine later. Thanks!

Ideally placed with beautiful views

We have absolutely loved all our stays in this excellent apartment and last couple of weeks were no exception. A lovely break from the rat race, and spending time up on the roof to chill and enjoy the sun is the best tonic ever. Everything is so close in easy walking distance and quite a few really good restaurants to enjoy nearby. We love this place and the locals make such a nice community to be a part of, if only for a couple of weeks. Thanks again Jamie for your great help and communication to ensure all was ok for us. Hopefully back soon !
