Stayed Jun 12, 2023I booked this flat for a 4 week stay with my 3 children just before we relocated abroad. Superficially, the flat is fine. However, as the weeks wore on we experienced several problems with the flat. For example, the back door lock broke. The front door knob fell off. The dishwasher kept sliding out of its kitchen unit and dislodging the panelling. One of the blinds was broken on the day we arrived, and couldn’t be opened for our entire stay. The smoke alarm hadn’t been tested, so its battery ran out and it started bleeping in the middle of the night. The en-suite shower was unusuable for the first half of my stay. The owners did fix most of the problems during my stay but it’s clear the flat needs a lot of work to keep things from breaking. In addition, during our final week’s stay, the cleaner didn’t come. As a result, the bathrooms were not as clean as they should have been. Our towels weren’t replaced. And the sheets went unchanged. Given the price of the flat, I’m a little disappointed with our experience. The location was great however.
