Delightful Beachside two-bedroom apartment

We loved the beach access and our dog was happy since we had porch and were a little set back from the street. The unit had everything we needed and was comfortable. The hosts were available but not invasive.

Cute clean small apartment. Living room and 1 of 2 bedrooms had window ac units so we were able to stay cool as weather was high 80s over 90 1 day out of our 7 day stay. Close to the beach.

Close to the beach and all amenities. Neighborhood felt very safe. Loved the location! Communication with property management was amazing!

2 days without hot water. Ad deceiving about being on beach 2 handicapped people and was looking forward to staying on beach. No communication from owner prior to vacation with questions I had. Never again.

NICE LOCATION BUT RUN DOWN APARTMENT. COULD NOT USE THE PORCH AT ALL, SAND RAINS DOWNS THRU UPSTAIRS DECK ONTO CHAIRS AND GAS GRILL ALL DAY LONG, SO YOU CANT DO ANYTHING OUT THERE AND ITS THE ONLY PLACE FOR YOU TO SIT AT THE PROPERTY. NO COIN LAUDRY AT PROPERTY, ITS DOWN THE ROAD. THERE ARE NO CURTAINS ON THE WINDOWS JUST CRAPPY BLINDS AND THE KITCHEN SINK WINDOW HAS NOTHING COVERING IT AND ITS IN DIRECT VIEW OF THE ONLY COUCH TO SIT ON AT NIGHT TO WATCH THE ONLY TV IN THE KITCHEN. THE FLOORS ARE ALL SEVERLY WARPED AND THE BATHTUB FLOOR WAS MUSHY AS WELL, LIKE ROTTING UNDERNEATH THE TUB. THE POTS AND PANS WERE ALL PEELING TEFLON AND THE MICROWAVE HAS RUSTY HOLES INSIDE ON THE TOP AND BACK OF THE OVEN SO COULDNT COOK UNTIL 6 DAYS INTO MY STAY WHEN MANAGMENT REPLACED POT AND PANS WITH VERY CHEAP ONE S AT THAT. SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PLACE AND HOW MUCH I PAID FOR IT. EVERYTHING IS EITHER BROKEN OR ALMOST BROKEN. THE LIGHT IN THE BEDROOM IS ABOUT READY TO COME OFF WALL, TOILET SEAT SLIDES AROUND CUZ ITS BROKEN, OR DOES'NT FIT THE TOILET, THE RADIATOR IN BATH HAS EXPOSED WIRES..I COULD GO ON AND ON,NO WORKING PORCH LIGHT, CHAIR CUSHIONS WHERE RUSTY, MOLDY AND HAD BURN HOLES ON THEM, MANAGEMENT REPLACED THEM WITH CHEAP MUCH SMALLER CUSHIONS THAT DIDNT FIT THE RUSTY CHAIRS. THE PLACE HAS A NASTY SMELL ABOUT IT THAT WONT GO AWAY, THE ONLY ENTRY DOOR IN THE KITCHEN SWINGS SHUT ON YOU ANS THERE IS NO SCREEN DOOR TO GET A CROSS BREEZE, AIR CONDITIONERS ARE OLD AND DIRTY TOO

Rain, Rain Rain! But the apartment was nicer than I expected and a/c’s in the windows which helped with the humidity. It’s a cute place and an easy walk to the beach the landlord is a nice guy and keeps you informed through email. I would recommend a deep cleaning of furniture floors and bath. There’s a great porch/patio but everything was wet so we ever got to use it. I had one sunny day but we tried to keep busy.

The place is adequate, but the walls are thin and you can hear everything from the upstairs neighbors. The eating utensils are cheap and bent, the mattresses are cheap and uncomfortable. There are 3 units, but parking is tight and apparently the owner told the biggest unit that they could have 2 spots of the three. We didn’t have hot water for 24 hours and the property manager was really hard to get ahold of. I text about 2 other issues and got no response. This place is just fine, but there are units with kitchenettes and accept dogs throughout the 7 mile beach. Just google.

Just a bump when I couldn’t find the place at 2am after driving 12 hours. I recommend bringing a flashlight to see the numbers and keys. I loved every other part of my stay. Excellent communication about any questions, and a beautiful spot.

The apt was just what we needed for our short vacation. We have dogs and it was close to the beach and close enough to run our dogs early in the morning. The walk to town was just right to go to dinner and/or whatever we needed. We will be back!

Can’t beat the location, close to beach, walking distance to the Pier and other attraction. Property could use some updating but overall a good option to stay at Old Orchard Beach.
