There is a pull out queen size bed in the living room allowing a total of 6 adults. It is non-smoking and pet friendly!
The apartment was perfect for our party of 5 and Mr. Pat was the perfect host. He came to check on us during a winter storm to make sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely look into this apartment again if we come this way again.
Great access to everything local. The beds and couches need to be replaced.
Clean comfortable and in such a convenient location. Hope to stay again soon!
We had a great time staying at apartment. Great location!!! It has everything you need. The building is about 129 years old- it makes your stay even special. Very convenient to all activities around. Weather was excellent!!! Highly recommend!!! It was a second time for us and definitely we will be back. Thank you.
We stayed for a weekend and had a great time. The location is on Main Street right around several restaurants and above a really great local art and jewelry store. The Omnia and hiking trails are very close.
close to course and everything we needed
Very cozy apartment with easy access to local restaurants, grocery store, and vet for an unexpected vet visit. Would recommend this location to others looking for a getaway outside the normal hotels. Thank you!
Very clean and comfortable, while conveniently located!
The apartment’s location cannot be beat if you’re looking for access to the Omni Resort. Less than a two minute walk and you’re there. This was the quirkiest place I’ve stayed in a long time. The furniture seems to be antique store finds (nothing unattractive, just older) and I didn’t really find any sitting surface to be particularly comfortable. The reality, though, was that this wasn’t an issue for us as we were not in the apartment for much else than sleeping. The walls are bowed, the floors aren’t level (not a one!), the shower is tiny, the linens are “well loved,” the kitchen is a little aged….but somehow this added to the charm of the place. It really was like staying at grandma’s! My only real complaint was the cleanliness. There were several areas that could use a good scrub (shower, microwave vent, ceiling light shades) and this would make a big difference. Pat was easy to communicate with, helpful, and accommodating. He gave great suggestions for trails in the area and even allows his guests to hike on his family farm, several miles away from the property. I hiked this with my dogs and it was beautiful (and a good workout in the heat). We would stay again if we needed to be in Hot Springs. It was great to have found this place that allows our dogs to enjoy western Virginia as well.
Excellent location!
Hot Springs is a lovely, little town, and this unit is right in the heart. There is a nice trail for dog walking right there, so it's perfect for pets!
Nice, comfortable setting. Great value and a lovely experience. Highly recommend.
Fantastic! The owner was great to work with and the location is ideal on Main Street in Hot Springs. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious with nice, rustic decor. Highly recommend!
I stayed here for a conference at the Homestead. I had the convenience of being near the resort without the price tag and was able to have a full kitchen and more room to spread out. The owner was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Only complaint is that room darkening drapes would be very helpful to block the streetlight and I would have felt better with a chain to add protection/security inside the apartment beyond the code lock. The rugs were worn and could have used a more thorough cleaning and the parking through the alley was too tight. But overall I enjoyed my stay.
We had a lovely stay at this apartment. Nice space for 4 adults and some dogs to share. Excellent location right in the middle of town. The brewery across the street had excellent food and we could bring the dogs and sit outside for dinner. We even poached a free fireworks show from the rich folks staying at the Homestead. The beds were a bit firm for our liking and the kitchen could use a few more accoutrements (don't worry we left a cutting board so hopefully you will have one for your stay, LOL). But Patrick was awesome and the private trails you have access to were an excellent amenity! Make sure you ask for info about those before you get there if you're interested, they aren't marked in a way you can identify without info. We would definitely rent this space again!
Very convenient location and great property. Would stay again - for sure.
We received the check in info days prior to arrival so we knew where to park and had the passcode to enter the building when we arrived. Parking was quite tight behind the building (for our suv) but the instructions listed other options for parking if the back lot wasn’t an option. Upon entering the building, you must walk up a long flight of stairs to access the apartment. The building appears to have sustained some water damage in that stairway and there was a hole in the wall with a humidifier running. The stairway had a musty smell. Entry to the apartment was easy, there’s a keypad on the door. The 2 bedrooms and kitchen are a nice size. The living room was small with one couch, 2 chairs and a coffee table. The tv is large and the sound system was more than adequate. We turned the AC on when we got there and it took a beat to start cooling down. The location is great, we were able to take our pup out to a grassy spot right around the building to do her business. We discovered there were lots of frogs in the creek out back and our dog had great fun running along the bank scaring the frogs back into the water. The Main Street was very quiet which we were quite grateful for on night two of our stay. The second night we returned from a wedding at the Omni to discover that the AC was not working. Our poor little girl had been locked up in the apartment and the thermostat read 78 degrees! It was pretty hot in there. We threw open all the windows, took her out for walk and hoped we would be able to get the place cool enough to sleep. Fortunately, it did cool down enough with all the apartment windows open, to get a little shut eye, sleeping on top of the covers. Thankfully, even though the apartment was on Main Street, it was very quiet and street noise did not disturb us. Not the softest bed but we were able to rest. Refrigerator and freezer adequately cooled. Shower had decent pressure and temp. The bathroom could have used an all over wipe down, the window sill had dead bugs and the baseboards were dirty. Lots of towels provided. There is a nice restaurant right on main with outside seating, they are dog friendly and we had breakfast there Saturday morning. Just down the street, a block or so, we discovered Lindsay’s Roost and ate lunch there. It’s a tiny hole in the wall but the burger, fries, onion rings and coleslaw were delish. The service was wonderful. Much easier on the pocket too! Hot Springs is a beautiful town with many friendly people.
