Stayed Dec 23, 2025Let’s address the elephant in the room. The Brown Line roars by every 20 minutes and literally shakes the house and drowns out conversation/broadcasts for a few seconds. That said, we loved it! The hosts are gracious and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied for the cooking needs of up to 6 people. We had a true vacation. We could walk to 4 coffee shops, find great food, and enjoy the neighborhood. Would definitely stay again. I do know people who would be upset about the Line, so keep that in consideration. To us, it was joyful noise!

Stayed Dec 20, 2025The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed for cooking a meal. We didn't though, with all the amazing food choices we had around us, even within walking distance. The area was amazing and everything was so easy! More than enough parking! The beds were super comfy and the whole apartment was cozy and welcoming! The host was super sweet and communicative throughout. There are a ton of things to do and so much fun to be had!! WE LOVED IT!! Can't wait to come back to my sweet home Chicago!! I highly recommend this place. It went beyond my expectations! Just wonderful!

Stayed Aug 28, 2025Super clean and just as cozy as advertised! While the El tracks are VERY close, mostly did not find it to be disruptive after we adjusted a little bit. Things were well-appointed, kitchen well organized and stocked with basics, and beds were comfy. Location-wise, it is close to breweries and shopping, convenient access to the Brown Line, and a great little neighborhood. Justin was a terrific host, in touch with us frequently, and gave great recommendations. I would stay here again for sure!

Stayed Jul 4, 2025Everything about the apartment was wonderful… We greatly appreciated the coffee supplies! Not being natives of Chicago, we were not used to the sound from the train… But we were fairly warned!

Stayed Apr 19, 2025The house was great! 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, perfect for 5 adults. The kitchen was huge and well stocked. Plenty of space to hang out in the mornings and evenings. Everything was clean with extra amenities like shampoo/conditioner and shower poofs and W/D! Closeness to CTA was a plus as we were on it multiple times/day. It was a quick 10-minute ride to Wrigley but quite a bit longer to downtown Chicago. Having 2 breweries close by was a plus. The noise from the El was livable but I did wear earplugs each night in the bedroom closest to the rails. The other 2 bedrooms had much less noise. It was an welcome addition to our authentic Chicago experience. The neighborhood was perfectly safe and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed Oct 10, 2024The house was as advertised. The house is at the end of the street next to the train tracks. Brewery is right next door. A few minute walk to the brown line. Justin was an amazing host. He was very quick in responding to any of our questions about Chicago. He was very helpful! The two bathrooms were very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Sep 13, 2024We had a great stay at Justin & Samantha's property! The home is nicely updated with plenty of amenities. The large kitchen had plenty of utensils and appliances to help our stay go smoothly. Towels, hairdryers, soaps, etc. in the 2 updated bathrooms were also appreciated. Each bedroom had a queen sized bed, plenty of blankets & pillows, and a personal sized TV. The location is excellent with several neighborhood bars nearby and only a few minutes drive from Wrigleyville. The on-site parking for multiple cars was a huge bonus. I would definitely stay here again in the future and appreciate the owners for their hospitality!

Stayed Jul 31, 2024It was spectacular! The owners are so responsive and accommodating. Everything you could need is already in the house. We lived in Chicago for over 10 years but all closer to Lincoln Park. This is our new favorite part of the city...quiet, close to the El, cute neighborhood breweries and dining options all within walking distance. Highly recommend.
