Cozy Sandpoint Cottage Stay!

My husband and I stayed in the Sandpoint Cottage for two nights when we were in town for a wedding. It was charming and a perfect place for us. It is exactly as described and the hosts are great! Highly recommend staying here.

Very comfortable and close to downtown. Everything we needed was inside the apartment, even a washer and dryer.

Utterly charmed by the place and my hosts. It is exactly as advertised. The fireplace was a wonder and for such a small space it seems spacious! Use of the cruiser type bicycle was perfect for a grocery visit and tootling around on all the cool paved trails. Hosts were so gracious about arranging an extra night. I will be back!

We loved the cozy cottage! We stayed for 2 nights and we were able to explore Sandpoint as well as cook a lovely meal in the kitchen. Design of cottage was well thought out with all the necessities. We had a great stay

We stayed for 4 nights with a dog. The property was stated as being pet friendly, but we did not find that to be the case. The property is on a shared lot with its main home that is accessible by the street. To get to this property you drive into an alley. The main home has access to the yard and this home does not. If you are needing to let your dog use the potty it has to be done in the alley. From the photos it appears that you have access to a yard area for your dog. The downstairs of this property has a shared foyer and a garage. There is no door to the upstairs from the foyer, so whoever goes into the foyer could easily walk up the stairs into your area. This was not ideal for us or the dog. Also, the front home has access to the garage and are using it all the time. So keep in mind that there is traffic and alot of noise being made below you at all times during the day and night. Lastly, there is a single parking space in the alley in front of the home which is also the garage door access that you aren't supposed to block. Also the one bathroom in the house the sink was completely clogged. The kithen was nice.

The host was very accommodating and allowed an early check in. The location is nice in terms of proximity to the downtown area.

Beautiful, clean and cozy. Check In was easy. Centrally located close to everything. There are two flights of stairs, not ideal for older crowd if mobility is a concern. Kitchen well stocked and fresh eggs from the hosts chicken was a nice a touch! Thank you for great stay.

The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, we cooked most of our meals at the cottage. It is within walking distance of all the shops and entertainment in downtown Sandpoint. It was clean with a real cozy home away from home feel. The hosts were very responsive and provided great communication for our stay. Highly recommend. :)

My mom and I traveled on the Amtrak to Sandpoint, ID, for a couple of days. We had a lovely stay, and the Sandpoint Cottage was the perfect fit for our trip. Mindy, the hostess, was incredibly responsive to my messages, even before booking the trip. One of the things that really stood out to us about our stay, is how welcoming the little cottage was and the little extras that made our stay even better. We really appreciated having coffee available and a few snacks upon our arrival. Having bikes available for us to use during our stay was a significant benefit, especially since we didn't rent a vehicle. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you come to Sandpoint!

It was perfect for my “working retreat”. Easy to walk anywhere you need to go…groceries, restaurants, beach. Lovely place to stay!

The property was beautiful and located in the perfect spot for exploring town on foot or on bicycle. The host communicated prior to our stay to make the check-in process seamless. So many thoughtful details were included: snacks, tips for restaurants/sights to see, and even bikes to use. Would 100% recommend!

Convenient, quiet, comfortable-my preferred place to stay in Sandpoint.

House has three levels so lots of stairs; awkward with lots of ski gear. Utensils and cups mismatched and lowest quality No dishwasher so many utensils were unclean and had food baked on. General furniture is lowest grade available. Dust balls and dirt around on the floors so the clean-up needs to be more thorough. Owner very good on communication, and we did not raise any of these issues with her.

Mindy and David’s place is incredible, and having them as hosts made it an even BETTER experience. They are so kind, understanding, communicative and detail-oriented. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth. Whenever we needed anything or help figuring out appliances, they were on it. Their kindness and generosity towards us and our dogs is forever appreciated, and made an huge and positive impact on our busy weekend during a family wedding. Their space is so beautiful! The touches of design and intentionality is amazing and definitely was an upscale experience. It had everything we needed and more. It is in such a wonderful, quiet and convenient location, within walking or biking distance from everything that Sandpoint has to offer. We loved how bright, airy and cozy it all was. Their place felt like the perfect home away from home. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being so kind, accommodating and generous with your beautiful space. The property was as advertised. Tidy, close to town-- wonderful beach a few blocks away. The owner went out of her way to accomodate my schedule-- easy to work with! I felt completely safe and taken care of here. Will stay again!

Everything I needed for my stay was available and the location was convenient for exploring the town. Definitely, I will keep this on my list of places to stay in Sandpoint.

Beautiful property!! Owner communicated all details we needed to know to enjoy our weekend in Sandpoint. Property was very clean and as described a cozy cottage. Stairs to 2nd & 3rd floor were a great workout.

Wonderful location for my friends in surrounding areas to visit me, access to downtown locations, city beach, etc. Owners were very responsive to any of my questions.
