Stayed Jul 3, 2025The location was easy to find using google maps. It was very nice and we enjoyed our stay very much. It's a short distance to downtown Durango. It had everything we needed. Friendly owner and easy process. Beautiful view. Will definitely be coming back.

Stayed May 4, 2025When we arrived we thought we were in the wrong place. It didn't look anything like the pictures because there was no more snow cover. There was junk everywhere on the surrounding property. The inside was not clean, there were barely any essentials provided, and there was no security since the lock didn't work. The road to the house was barely passable. We were supposed to stay two nights but left early the next morning. I called the owner but he never returned my call. I guess we paid dearly for the beautiful mountains around the property. I can't believe that VRBO is even associated with this place! What a disappointment!

Stayed Dec 27, 2024The bedrooms smelled strongly of what I’m assuming was cat urine. Everything looked dirty. It was a really uncomfortable stay. We wouldn’t have stayed the first night if we had anywhere else to go. It was so uncomfortable we didn’t get any sleep. We did not stay our second night.

Stayed Jun 21, 2023This place was abandoned, trash everywhere in the yard and weeds taller than the window on our car. Had to find another place to stay which ended up cutting our trip short due to the additional costs. Tried to call the number associated with the property but it was not accepting calls. What a frustrating time and made the last days of our trip not enjoyable.
