Welcome to Stowe Acres VT — One of Stowe's Best Views!
Our apartment is situated conveniently off Route 100, just a couple of miles south of the village of Stowe. Our family lives here in the main house, and guests stay in our apartment above the garage. A private entrance and deck allow you to enjoy your stay in Stowe while taking in incredible views of Mt. Mansfield — Vermont's highest peak.
You'll be in awe of the unobstructed views of Stowe Mountain Resort, the world-famous Trapp Family Lodge, and the Green Mountains of Vermont.
Stowe Acres VT is conveniently situated on the south side of Stowe — 8 miles from I-89, minutes from the village and Mountain Road, with easy access to hiking trails, mountain bike trails, the Stowe Rec Path, snowmobiling, and Stowe Mountain Resort.

The Apartment
This cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment above our garage has a private entrance and deck, and feels wonderfully secluded despite being just minutes from town and the mountain. The open floor plan features beautiful wood flooring, a gas wood stove to keep you toasty in winter, and heat pumps with AC for comfortable summers. Step out onto your private deck and soak in some of the best mountain views Stowe has to offer — with our large pond set in the foreground and the Green Mountains as your backdrop.
The bedroom features a king-size bed, an attached walk-in closet with ample storage, and an in-unit washer/dryer. The living room offers a full/queen sleeper sofa for additional guests. A sleeping loft is also available and accessed by ladder — please note that use of the loft and ladder is at guests' own risk, and we are not responsible for any injuries or incidents related to their use.
The lower-level mudroom is perfect for storing skis, bikes, and all of your outdoor gear.

The Area
Our family loves taking advantage of everything Stowe has to offer and we're happy to share our favorite hiking and mountain biking trails, restaurants and breweries (heard of the Alchemist ), galleries, and activities. Vermont is incredibly special to our family, and we look forward to sharing Stowe with you!

A Few Things to Know
• Meet Boomer — our friendly, easygoing 13-year-old black Lab may be out on the property from time to time. If dogs aren't your thing, this may not be the right fit for you.
• Winter driving — our property is on a hilly road that is plowed and sanded multiple times daily, but an all-wheel drive vehicle is strongly recommended.
• The pond — guests are welcome to enjoy our pond. Please note that swimming and all pond activities are entirely at your own risk. There is no lifeguard present, and we assume no responsibility or liability for any accidents, injuries, or incidents occurring in or around the pond. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children near the water at all times.
• Our family — we have three boys who may be outside playing, skating on the pond, or kicking a soccer ball around. The apartment is private, but the outdoor space is shared. If you have kids, ours are always happy to have a new friend join in!
• The hot tub is reserved for family use only and is not available to guests.
• Noise — as a friendly reminder, our family lives on the property, so we kindly ask that guests be mindful of noise levels, especially in the evenings.

Guests have full access to the garage apartment, the private deck, and parking for 2 cars.
