Recently renovated, our apartment Escale des Rimains (75m2) located on the 1st floor of a typical house of Cancale in a quiet district offers a high standing service. It is very suitable for families and small groups of friends, wishing to enjoy an exceptional sea view journey (3 windows with sea view) in a cozy and modern apartment. The garden (2000m2) leads to the famous Coastal path with direct sea access (view of the oyster beds). the windows show a great view of the Mont-Saint-Michel.>
The apartment has 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms (plus 1 sofa bed in the living room). The kitchen is entirely equipped (fridge / freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher etc.) and a washing machine is provided. All the furnitures of the apartment are brand new!

The Rimains district is very quiet and is only few steps away from the famous gastronomic restaurant La Maison de Bricourt held by Olivier Roellinger.

The apartment is only 900 meters away from the shops (church, restaurants and supermarket) and 1500 meters away from the Port de la Houle.
To get around: on foot, by bike or by car, your choice!

    1) There was no communication prior to arrival. I had to reach out to the owner for arrival specifics. 2) Hard to find, as the address does not appear on GPS, it is one of 3 apartments in a 3 story building, and has no place to even pull out of the street. 3) No parking. You will have to park at the trailhead about 400 meters further down the street. 4)The downstairs apartment neighbors have a dog which lunged at me when I opened the door (once we found it). These neighbors clearly do not like the presence of a short term rental. They were unhelpful and openly belligerent. 5) The apartment smelled like mold and sewage. the bedclothes were moldy. 6) There is no guestbook. When I asked for the wifi, the owner said check the guestbook 7) Despite all this, this owner had the GALL to charge an extra cleaning fee, falsely claiming that they required 5 hours to clean. Total SCAM. WE left this place as clean as all the other places we have stayed. Do not rent this! I am also making a direct complaint to VRBO.

    The apartment was very comfortable, with an astonishing view. A well equipped kitchen was most welcome since I cook and most rentals are sparse with decent equipment. Both bathrooms were spacious and most importantly luxurious. Jade was a great host, answered my questions promptly. I would highly recommend this property.
