Stayed Oct 31, 2018First, I need to mention that Steve is a great host that responds to you very quickly and is very friendly. Thank You Steve for getting back to me on numerous occasions when I had a question. Regarding our stay, It was for 4 nights at the end of the October (2 adults and 2 kids). We fell in love with this house and wished we could have stayed 2 weeks. Steve's home didn't feel like the rental, but rather like a home away from home. It is cozy, tastefully decorated, specious and authentic Andalusian village house. It had everything we needed on vacation and more: DVDs, CDs,books, magazines, etc. For a family of 4 it is very specious. There are 3 bedrooms, but we only used 2. There are few terraces, but we used the main one (reached through the bedroom on the first floor) that has a view of the sea and the village itself. We would have a coffee there in the morning, drink in the afternoon and would sit until it gets very cold at night. The terrace is priceless and the best among many around. Not every townhouse has an upper terrace like this. Overall, the property exceed our expectations and the only little remark I have is about the mattresses. Wish they were newer and firmer. Other then that, we had a wonderful time at this beautiful house and would like to return. P.S.- Village itself is really affordable to eat out. Prior coming to Frigiliana, we stayed in Benahavis and visited Marbella, Puerto Banus, etc. Eating out is double more expensive on that side of the coast. Also, the Steve's kitchen is large and well equipped to cook the meals together with the beautiful view of the hills.

Stayed May 6, 2017First time in this apartment and would happily visit again - have already recommended to friends. The apartment is very well stocked, with views to both the village and the mountains down to the sea. It was my daughters first visit to village and they totally fell in love with it. Would have been five stars, but without pool, you need for the village communal pool to be open or like us happy to take the 1 Euro bus to the many lovely beaches, just 15 minutes away. Can't wait to visit again - many thanks Steve

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed at Casa En Chorruelo in February 2017 with our three young girls (age 8-10) when we visited family living in the village. At the time of booking this accommodation was the stand out choice due to its close location to the centre of the village, a short walking distance via the immediately accessed winding road leading to many local bars, restaurants and shops. The accommodation is beautiful inside and out as it shows on the photographs, very spacious and kept immaculately clean throughout. The views from the balconies are spectacular looking down through the valley towards the med. sea and town of Nerja. There are a number of balconies well furnished with tables, loungers and chairs, offering views from all aspects giving the choice of sun or shade at all times. The apartment had all the amenities a family needed whilst we were there. The Wi-fi worked really well also for those who need to keep connected during their travels. From the point of booking, leading up to our trip and during Steve was always able to be contacted and offered help along with recommendations which added to an enjoyable stay. This was our first experience in this type of booking and the friendly approach from Steve gives us no hesitation in planning a return trip. Looking forward to coming again and seeing the planned upgraded bathrooms. Overall we would fully recommend staying here if you are planning to visit Frigiliana on service, quality and cost.

Stayed Dec 19, 2016We stay for ten days over Xmas and throughly enjoyed our stay as the weather was beautiful allowing us to spend the daylight hours outside in the Winter sun. This apartment is in a curious block on a quiet street even though parking can be an issue. The restaurants and bars are in walking distance and the beach is only a short drive. Everything that you could need is available in the apartment even though some of the kit is well used. The wood burner was very smelly and as there were no detectors we decided not to use it as heating was required I the evenings. The Internet access is fine for surfing but that is all as there is only 2.5Mbits and the TV has the main British channels that were great for Xmas programmes. Like the rest of the apartment the outside space, two terraces, were good but tired. We did really enjoy our stay and it was good value for money.
