`We had a lovely stay at the chalet in Beatenberg. The place was just as described, and the check-in and all information we needed during our stay was very clearly communicated. The views and scenery were absolutely unbeatable, and we were very comfortable during our stay. This place was a fantastic place to stay that was a little bit more quiet compared to interlaken itself, which was lovely for us with our small children. We were happy to find that the chalet was very close to a bus station, which was great for getting around the area. They had great supplies available for kids. We will definitely stay here again if we get back to the area.`

The space
Wake up to beautiful views of the Swiss Alps in this authentic Swiss Chalet in Beatenberg, a quiet residential area above the lake. Expect nature, fresh air, and peaceful surroundings — not crowds.

This Authentic Swiss Chalet has the apartment with 2 floors, up to 6 guests, and 1 free parking place available 200m away from the entrance of the chalet, ideal for families, couples, and friends seeking comfort, outdoor activities, and a truly Swiss experience

The Entrance Floor:
• Fully equipped kitchen
• Living and dining area with balcony
• Toilet with laundry room

The 1st Floor:
• 3 Bedrooms, each with 1 double bed
• Full bathroom
• Stair with 12 steps down to reach the entrance of the Apartment

• Countryside setting — insects, ants, bees, small lizards, and spiders may appear
• No air conditioning (fans provided)
• Heating available from October until the end of April

Location – Beatenberg, Bernese Oberland
A peaceful residential area above Lake Thun near Interlaken with alpine scenery and direct access to hiking trails. Ideal for hiking, skiing, biking, swimming, sailing, paragliding — or simply relaxing on the balcony .

Getting around
• Please note the roads are curvy, narrow, and steep. Drive carefully and enjoy the ride.
• The area is well served by public transport. At check-in, you’ll receive a tourist card with free bus access and great local discounts.
• The nearest bus stop is about a 10-minute walk, and from there, it’s only 25 minutes by bus to Interlaken West Station.

⏰ Check-in after 8:00 PM is not available due to local building rules.

Check-Out Instructions (10:00 AM)
• Standard cleaning is included if these steps are followed. Extra fees may apply.
• Leave trash in the bin under the kitchen sink.
• Start the dishwasher (or wash by hand). Do not store wet dishes.
• Leave used towels on the bathroom floor.
• Turn off the stove and lights.
• Return items to their original places.
• Left-behind items will be donated.
• Lock the doors and return the key to the keybox.

House Rules
• Quiet hours after 10 PM, especially on the balcony. Noise sensors are in place.
• No parties. Authorities may be notified.
• No smoking indoors or on the balcony.
• No pets allowed.
• Fireplace and BBQ are not available.
• No drones on or around the property; local fines apply.
• Ventilate after cooking and showering.
• Report any damage with photos immediately.
• Inform us of any change in guest numbers.
• We respond to messages 8 AM–6 PM.
• Check the amenities list for details.
