We never received a checkin email from the property manager and her voicemail was full so we had no way to contact her. Luckily, with the help of local business people, we were able to find someone to help us. The apartment was adequate for our needs. Hot Springs was a charming, friendly place to stay.
Construction was taking place on the street right in front of the property, and it is a first come/first serve basis. The owners advertise that it sleeps two; however, it has a couch that doesn’t fold out to a bed…just the couch. The couch is rock hard. There is a memory foam mattress topper that could work for whoever sleeps on the couch, but where does the 2nd person sleep? My 7 YO son slept on the couch and I slept on the floor with the foam pad. Guests are asked to only open blinds and not lift them because there’s a problem with them falling. I went to open the windows because the air outside was cool, the window frame were filthy throughout the studio. There’s no trashcan for the kitchen…or bags. The grill is basically broken. I lit all 3 burners, but flames were so low it wouldn’t cook a steak properly. I liked the area. I liked the accommodations. Close to Evans Plunge. It’s also across the street from Fall River and water fall. I appreciate we were able to use clothes washer and dryer. Everything else was good.
This spot is a perfect location to walk around town, or jump in the car for day trips. Wanting to limit our public interaction, to help minimize possible covid contact, we opted to cook several meals. Everything we needed was available and the space is perfect for two to enjoy! We even visited the farmers market in the park and got some local fair. What a great get away location. Definitely recommend you try one of their three units at this location!
Good
Loved its amenities! Clean loft, kitchen, shower and has a homey feel. We utilized the washer/dryer during our stay. Full kitchen, with microwave, refrigerator, Keurig, stove/oven...all in excellent working condition. The bed is a pull out sofa bed, but we didn't have any complaints about it. It is firm and surprisingly comfortable. We were there a full seven days. We rode our Harley, the parking is street, uncovered; but no problems at all leaving parked outdoors. Not impressed with the cafe down the road, but it's almost the only show in town (when it's open). There's a coffee shop downstairs, but we did not go there. We would stay here again should we visit the area. Perfect for a couple.
Nice place, close to downtown. Enjoy staying in historical places.
Great location, cute little town, love all the brick, There were so many extra, the towels were the thickest I’ve ever experienced. I can’t say enough good things
Nice place. Good size for two people. Within walking distance to several places downtown.
This is the perfect place to stay for 2 people. It has everything that you could ever want/need and it’s in a very convenient location. The only down side that we came across is that the bed was a little uncomfortable. Also, the floors could really use a good sweeping and scrubbing. Other than those couple of minor downsides I would highly recommend this place.
Because the unit is very small, space is limited, but could be set up to work more efficiently. There is no place to put clothing. A shelving unit would help. A useless bean bag chair is taking up valuable space. The TV is sitting low on a coffee table and can't be seen when in bed. It should be on the wall, that would free up an area underneath for clothing storage. There is no countertop space. A small rolling cart would offer storage for food items, which is non-existent, as well as surface area when preparing food. The Keurig is inconvenient. Guests either need to buy pods, or buy a reusable filter and paper inserts, which is what we did. An under-cabinet coffee maker would be great.
Perfect studio apt for 2. Private and quiet. Well furnished. New appliances. Nice flooring. Nice decor. Tiled shower. Bright lighting. The owners did a great job of renovating this studio apt in a historic sandstone building. Excellent location. Close to Kidney Spring and a paved path to stroll along the river with a small water fall. Easy parking by the entrance. Nice coffee shop next door. Only half a mile to Evan's Plunge. Definitely 5 stars for the price.
