The holiday apartment occupies the top floor (3rd floor) of the Hotel Sonne in the village of Amden high above Lake Walensee. This very centrally located holiday flat offers the services of a hotel (breakfast, half board, laundry service) in addition to the holiday apartment services on request. The well-equipped apartment with its spacious rooms can accommodate up to 5 people and is ideal accommodation for families or groups. At the centre of the accommodationis the spacious living room, equipped with a TV, which acts as the heart of the apartment. Directly adjacent is the kitchen, which leaves nothing to be desired with an oven, a fridge, an electric hob and a dining table that seats 5 people. The three bedrooms, two with queen-size beds and one with a double bed, are strategically positioned on the north side of the flat to ensure optimum peace and quiet. The bathroom, although compact, is finely equipped, with a bathtub and WC, and thus offers everything necessary for daily needs. Free Wi-Fi is available to guests throughout the house, making their stay in this welcoming flat even more enjoyable.

Amden is located in eastern Switzerland above Lake Walensee. The village offers a magnificent mountain backdrop and is only about an hour's drive from the centres of Zurich, St.Gallen or Chur. The diverse regions of Glarnerland, Heidiland, Graubünden and Zurich with Lake Zurich are easily accessible by bus, train or car. In winter, the family ski resort of Amden with its renowned ski school and other ski resorts in the surrounding area such as Flumserberg or Pizol, Elm or Braunwald are a great attraction. In spring, summer and autumn, the lake and the mountains provide a wonderful contrast and offer a wide range of activities.
