The Tarpon Springs Suites are nearby Innisbrook Golf and Spa Resort and Lake Tarpon, as well as the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks where Greek culture abounds. Tarpon Springs is steeped with history with many sites on the National Register of Historic Places and local and cultural activities, including; its own Tarpon Springs Aquarium, Suncoast Primate Sanctuary, performing arts, museums, award winning art festivals, music festivals, micro breweries, a winery, great beaches and parks with boat ramps for boats of all sizes, as well as outdoor movie nights.
The Pinellas Trail is also just a few blocks away to go for a nice walk, jog or to ride a bike. The trail runs from Tarpon Springs to St. Pete allowing for an all day adventure with many shops and restaurants along the way.
For those who want to relax, or simply not worry about parking, take the Trolley. The Jolly Trolley offers a unique way to see the coastal towns from Tarpon Springs to St Pete with stops including the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and the top rated Clearwater Beach and St Pete Beaches. The passes are interchangeable; you can use your pass throughout Pinellas County on PSTA/Suncoast buses.
Tarpon Springs boasts multiple local gulf beaches. Fred Howard Park and Sunset Beach, both offering spectacular daily sunset viewing opportunities without the crowds and their own unique extracurricular activities.
There are a few ferry services located on the Sponge Docks that will take you Anclote Key. This is a must see picture perfect island. Anclote Key Preserve State Park & Lighthouse was built in 1887. It stands on the southern end of the island and is still a working lighthouse today. Shelling the beach at Anclote Key is fabulous and never disappoints. It is quite common to see dolphins playing in the boat's wake, and if you are lucky you might catch a glimpse of sea turtles on your way to and from the stunning beach and waters of Anclote Key. There are many boat rental companies in the area. The opportunities of exploring beaches, inter-coastal islands, and sandbars are endless, not to mention inshore and offshore fishing possibilities.
CVS Pharmacy, Publix, Queen's Pizza and Starbucks and Walmart are all within an easy walk.
We needed a nice, clean, restful place that was in the area. It was convenient to get to the event we came for, plus it was close to a Publix and many local take out options. We travel with our own white noise machine which perfectly masked any traffic noise as we slept. We used the coffee maker, microwave, etc. and the all worked well. If there was any recommendation I would make is to provide shower soap and shampoo, but that is very minor. We loved staying there and highly recommend it!
Great amenities. Exactly as described. Owners very helpful. Enjoyed the outdoor seating. Great proximity to sponge docks and Greek town. Highly recommend!!!
Like an apartment. Beautiful location a lot of great amenities
The owner, Jill, was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond. We have always had trouble finding a place that takes cats and we were so happy to be able to bring our cat with us. The place is so clean you would never know that pets were allowed. Nothing was dirty or smelled bad. Check in and check out were super easy. The home is close to everything in the Tampa Bay Area. Beaches, restaurants and amusement parks. We really enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back. Thanks Jill!
We loved this property and the area of Tarpon Springs! Our family party of 4 (and dogs) stayed for about a week, and we wish we could have stayed for longer! The property was easily accessible, and it was nice and clean! The property managers were very helpful, and even though we didn’t have any problems or requests during our stay, they made themselves easy to contact and would check in periodically to make sure everything was going well. There were so many things to do in the area, from shopping, to restaurants , to outdoor activities, etc. We appreciate the amenities that were provided, and the fact we were allowed to bring our fur babies along with us! We would stay again for sure!
When traveling to unkown you depend on accuracy of the information being provided. And it was. The cleanileness and location was perfect. Near by stores and restaurants and close enough to Tampa. Our stay was perfect!
Great location for everything you need ! Owner is Very Welcoming and comfortable! Will be back again ?
A little getaway to the west coast of Florida and the opportunity to tour Tarpon Springs as well as New Port Richey, Clearwater, Bradenton and Sarasota. The hosts are magnificent in communications and overall hospitality is high touch with care and provisions for guests of their property. The property is immaculate and well maintained. Definitely recommend this VRBO
Very comfortable
All fabulous!
5-stars are not enough to describe how pleased we were with our stay. This was our second trip for Spring Training and we definitely wanted convenience to those events but to be a bit out of the tourist lane (think Spring break college kiddos). Tarpon Springs and this property were PERFECTO!! Easy half-hour drive to all the events we attended, lovely location, lots to do, loved historic Tarpon Springs and the sponge docks, and good meals everywhere we dined. Accommodations were remarkably clean and comfortable. Loved our neighbors who provided many restaurant suggestions. Our hosts, Jill and Tyler were super responsive and gave us great guidance before we arrived and while we were there. I guess the highest praise is that we considered extending our stay and rebooking for next year.
This location was great for us to stay at while visiting our daughter and her family. Quiet neighborhood where we could easily walk our dogs. Tons of stray cats everywhere but they didn't bother us and we didn't bother them.
A great place to stay for the two of us.
It was clean and so easy to get in touch with the hostess. She gave me great recommendations on where to eat and the best local attractions. We would absolutely stay here again.
Very nice property, clean, confortable, and completely stacked with all a home has.
We had a great stay - the place had everything we needed for a stay in the area to visit family and enjoy the beach.
We enjoy our stay and the house has everything you need . I really appreciate that she loves dogs. Super clean and peaceful place. Thank you so much! We looking forward to come back again.
The apartment was very nice, clean and well equipped. Very close to everything. Would definitely stay again.
