Georgetown, Texas
Beautifully furnished and decorated apartment located in the circa 1880, Mattie Rousser House. This historic home was divided into three lovely apartments during the depression era. Enjoy the two bedroom suite comfortably furnished with queen beds, down pillows, high thread count hotel sheets, and ample closet space. Additional sheets and blankets are in the front armoire. You will find a nicely appointed bathroom with a pocket door between the full tile shower and the toilet/vanity powder room. There is an additional door from the Master bedroom to the shower room, so you can use it as a powder room, a full bath or a Master bath. Hair dryer, shampoo, hair conditioner and towels are provided. The living area is a great place to relax with a very comfortable leather couch, flat screen TV with cable and internet. The eat in kitchen is adjacent with a antique drop leaf table, full appliances, dishes, silverware, and spices. It is ready to make a meal or take a 90 second or so walk to several eateries . Relax on the shaded patio or take a leisurely stroll to enjoy the many quaint shops on the square. A Keurig K-cup coffeemaker with stocked options awaits you when you wake, or stumble a few hundred feet to the Galaxy Bakery & Coffee House (Rated #4 nationally on the Learning Channel’s Bodacious Bakery segment.) Or a little over 2 blocks will get you to the Monument Café where Mathew McConaughey (his mom lives here) invited his good friend Guy Fieri,( host of The Food Networks “Diners-Drive Inns and Dives”) to his favorite organic based diner for some food festivities.
We personally searched across the Nation for the best place to live. Come and see why we chose Georgetown, Texas as the perfect fit.
Great little apartment, perfect for our family of four. Super close to coffee, bakeries and all the other amenities of the square.
What a charming place! It really felt homey. We also loved the proximity to the square. Even our small daughter could handle the walk. We will definitely stay here again.
I wanted a place where we could be within walking distance of things to do, not on a freeway or in a commercial zone. We preferred a place with a full kitchen because of special dietary needs. We were close enough to Sun City to visit family and to Austin for other events. The home was comfortable and secure and cheaper for three adults than many hotels would have been for one room. Lawrence contacted me before, was available if needed and the deposit refunded without a hitch! I plan to stay here again.
Great property, plenty of charm. Location could not be more perfect Lawrence is a very good host. Will be renting in the future Highly recommend.
This is the second time we have stayed in this property. This time we rented the 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage. It was charming, and perfect for the 3 of us (my husband, 3 year old daughter and I). It is right in the heart of Georgetown about a block and a half from the square. The property manager, Lawrence, stopped by to check on us within about an hour of us arriving to the property and helped us settle in. I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it.
Very clean centrally located very nice.
You can have a glass of wine and walk one block to the rental. No driving home. Very clean. Everything in good working order. Nicely decorated. Fresh linens. Note the main bedroom has a flexible partition separating the bedroom from the living room. This may be a problem for 2 active couples but was fine for a group of ladies. Kitchen was well equipped. Extra linens in the amoire.
Well maintained, quiet, clean
Super cute house. Very close, walking distance, to town square. We had a fantastic stay. Only caveat, street parking only. Would have like a parking space. And, bring your own toilet paper!
Clean and comfortable!
