Would recommend this property to anyone needing clean, comfortable beds, ample clean towels, a kitchen with decent supplies, and a very communicative host, Sue. Property is older but well maintained. It was very convenient for us to come and go as we needed.
When we came we were a little worried about the neighborhood, but when we got in the house and fixtures were renovated, clean, and comfortable. We walked to and from downtown Redlands and did not feel unsafe at all. Check in and out was a breeze! I felt bad for leaving dishes as I didn’t get the checkout email until the next day, but the property owner was very sweet and helpful. I will definitely go back if I need a place in Redlands again!!!
Booked this property online as it looked promising, had 2 bedrooms and was close to downtown Redlands. Working with the owner was a breeze as she was communicative and provided check-in procedures in a timely fashion and allowed us to check-in early. Each room was decorated nicely and the kitchen and bathroom were updated with new cabinets and appliances. Unfortunately, the property smelled old and damp. I saw air freshener plug-ins were placed in throughout but all were all empty. Additionally, many of the electrical sockets were loose. Because one of the bedrooms shared a wall, the neighbor next door could be heard through the wall. The rental provided all the basics - towels, tp, dishes, soap and coffee etc. The beds were comfortable (1 queen, 1 full). It would have been nice if there was access to a vacuum and additional toilet paper and towels, not just the 2 provided for my 5 night stay. Previous reviews mentioned noise from the train. That was not an issue. Most noise came from the neighbors barking dog and the high number of vehicles zooming down the street. One Suggestion – invest in new area rugs. Current rugs look like they have not been shampooed or vacuumed in some time.
The property is older and most likely converted to a duplex. The home itself was clean and the appliances were updated and I was thrilled to find a gas stove. Unfortunately there was not a dishwasher but there was a washer and dryer. There were 2 bedrooms, one off the back entry / laundry room and one off the main hallway, both with queen beds. Although comfortable, the bedrooms were small and neither had a master bath. Both bedrooms had AC units in the windows which were not completely sealed so it was 'drafty'. The bathroom was very small and my husband who is 6'1 barely fit under the shower head. There was barely a trickle coming out of the bathroom sink so we brushed our teeth in the shower. The toilet was located next to the sink and behind the door and again, my husband barely fit. The location is on a corner lot across / on the same street as Redlands HS and approximately 100 yards in the opposite direction is a city construction site and also the Redlands HS bus and maintenance garage. I-10 was also right there. This corner location was busy and loud all day and night and 95% of the vehicles did NOT come to a complete stop at the 4-way stop sign. Most vehicles rolled through or sped up to beat another vehicle. Although this property was easy to get to and close to amenities and highway, it is more suited for people travelling on business due to the noise and high traffic volume.
Very clean and has all your needed amenities! Sue is a great host!
Came in for a friend's wedding. This home was nice and clean. Loved having access to a kitchen to cook meals; had all equipment needed. Would recommend.
Cute place near downtown Redlands. Loved it!
