Stayed Dec 31, 1969My husband and I stayed for a week in this lovely apartment, and would gladly recommend it to others. The apartment was very clean, well decorated, and had plenty of space. The two bedrooms, which were at the back of the building, were quiet. The kitchen/diner had a balcony overlooking the lively main street and harbour area; we spent many a happy hour ‘people watching’ while we enjoyed our evening meals alfresco. There were plenty of local shops and restaurants, so you could manage here without a car but we chose to hire one. There was a parking space for us at the back of the building, with a short walk (100 metres?) around to the front door entrance. We found several lovely local beaches and enjoyed trips out into the hills, and down to the south coast too. It is quite a good location for exploring the mid and southern parts of the island, but be aware that the roads tend to be slow; there are no dual-carriageways. We couldn't have asked for nicer ‘hosts’; Santa was fantastic, as were the very friendly English-speaking staff in the associated restaurant. Although Santa’s English and my French could both be better, we communicated very easily when we arrived and departed. Written communications during the booking process were made earlier with the help of Google Translate. Santa lives in the same building (on a higher floor), so if you had any difficulties she would be nearby to help you. Basic provisions were available for us: oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, cleaning products, dishwasher tablets etc. And, on arrival, Santa also gave us a little gift of tasty treats, which were very welcome especially after a long journey. All in all, highly recommended. Santa, Thank you very much for our stay and for looking after us so well. We hope to visit you again some time in the future. Kind regards, Julia & Steve

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We spent one week in this apartment in Propriano and we had a great time. The apartment is spacious, nicely decorated, and well equipped with all amenities. Mostly, the location is excellent and it's only 3-minute walking to the beach. Despite being in the main street of Propriano, the apartment is rather quiet; we didn't hear too much noise from the street and the bedrooms are in the quiet back side of the apartment. We also like the owner of the apartment: Santa and Marie; they are very nice and very helpful.
