Charming apartment in an old, fully renovated building in central Berlin

Apartment was exactly as described, and everything worked well within. Extremely quiet place, which was much appreciated. The 80 steps to get to the door were not a surprise (the owner had advised us on booking) but still proved a challenge at times, especially when carrying luggage or groceries. Suffice it to say we both lost weight and gained cardio-pulmonary function from our trip!

Great apartment, out of the way of busy roads but close to train station. Located close to the river and park. Perfect.

We had a great time in Berlin. The flat is situated in a quiet area with S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations very close. It was a good place to stay and we were made very welcome by Barbara Wydmuch.

It's a lovely and quiet apartment. I didn't hear any noise coming from the apartments or surrounding apartments the entire time! It's so close to the metro, you can be anywhere you want in no time. It's also on the ring line which means you can ride the metro tram around the main ring of the city in either direction. Theres a large Lidl grocery store nearby. It's walking distance to the Charlottenburg palace. And there are river cruises that leave from very nearby the apartment. We didn't use one but saw them when we were walking around. Its an ideal location as you can be downtown in 15 minutes by train/metro but are in a nice residential area that is safe quiet and comfortable. We cooked in several nights and the kitchen is ample for that. We were always in touch with the owner and he made perfect arrangements for someone to meet us, even past 10pm since our flight was late. We flew into Schoenfeld airport which is the furthest away I think. Try to fly into tegel as its super close to the apartment. We got in about 1030pm on a Monday night and did find a wonderful gyro/falafel place open but not much more so you can see its a nice residential area with good services but not 24/7 type of place..and Caution...it's on the 4th floor with no lift so you get a good workout! It's the back building so as you enter through the main doors, it's through the foyer of the first building, across a small courtyard and into the back building. They provided excellent instructions as well.

Wonderfull appartement and very Well equipped! Very Nice with towels and bedlinen! Super not having to clean departing. The woman who checked us in and out was very kind!!

We loved this comfortable, light-filled and homey apartment in Berlin. Very nicely located, across from public transportation, near a big supermarket and a beautiful park. We came with our 1 year old who loved the toys and crawled happily all around the apartment, and we were glad to have the crib and the high chair. The kitchen was stocked in a wonderful way, and the filter coffee was a huge perk. The only downside was up 4 flights of stairs with the carriage, but the owners were happy to let us use a small room downstairs to keep the carriage. Highly recommend and would happily return.
