Baltimore, Maryland
Light drenched and welcoming, with a comfortable layout, this apartment is now awaiting your visit.
Very comfortable and superbly cozy second floor apartment with a separate entrance. The property features an updated kitchen with exotic granite countertops and a walk-out balcony perfect for your morning coffee, and full spacious bathroom, historic refinished hardwoods floors, large bedrooms, along with internet and Netflix and a wonderful view. Located right in the heart of Towson and in walking distance from nearest Starbucks, grocery stores, restaurants. Towson Town shopping center is near by, and so is Towson University, Loyola, Johns Hopkins and more.
We do not allow any parties in our properties. Before you check in we require a government issues ID with a picture of the primary guest.
Location is great. Host is responsive. I would stay here again.
Very clean but older property, not that I minded at all. Nice area, close to everything. Has radiators so there's noise with them, but I knew what to expect.
I’ll start by saying that we were only in town for the weekend, so it was a very short trip and we we didn’t spend much time inside. Pros: it has some really cute 1920s charm and seems like it’s in a good area of Towson (we’re not from MD so not familiar with the town at all). Check in/out was very easy and the host is quick to respond to any questions. Cons: There are only window AC units and when we arrived late Friday night, none of them were turned on so it was very hot and muggy inside the unit. This made it pretty uncomfortable to use the kitchen because if we turned on the stove it got even hotter and stuffier inside. There were also a lot of very large flies inside the apartment that we had to spend the better part of the evening trying to kill before we could go to sleep. Once we turned all the AC units on it cooled down, but this took hours. There were also some hairs on one of the pillowcases and blue stains on the a set of bedsheets; we assumed maybe from laundry detergent? So in summary, I think this rental has a lot of potential and maybe we just caught it on a bad weekend, but the bedroom cleanliness, temperature, and flies were quite shocking.
I’m quite surprised at these reviews. This is my first (and quite possibly last) short term rental experience. Photos show a great charming place bathed in natural light. What they don't show is noisy window AC units (causing you to turn TV up which then distorts) and very minimal lighting (not one lamp so leave your books at home) so it's very dark and sad at night. Depressing, even. Also dark and depressing is the entrance. Very unwelcoming as it’s unlit and not well-kept. We arrived at night and struggled to enter in the dark. Door mat was thrown down with tag still attached to it which screams ‘no attention to detail’ to me. I’m baffled as to what the ‘wonderful view’ was. The location was excellent. It’s in the historic Anneslie neighborhood tucked in between the city line and Towson right off York Road so close to everything we needed to be close to. Quick and easy access to the university, multiple hospitals, many private schools, shopping, restaurants, interstates, parks, Baltimore City. The host was mostly quick to respond and seemed kind. I think his hands are tied in regard to these issues as he had to consult with the owner regarding my stay and request to vacate early with some sort of reimbursement for nights not occupied. Sadly, reimbursement was not an option though we vacated 3 nights early anyway and headed to a hotel. If we weren’t in town for 7 full nights with a child in tow, perhaps none of these things would’ve been a bother. This place would be awesome with some room-darkening window coverings (or, at minimum, mini-blinds that aren’t broken and hanging to one side) and a few bedside lamps and maybe a floor lamp or two in the living space, all with soft-white bulbs). A few minor changes and it’d be super charming night and day, actually!
The location was perfect for us to be able to visit family nearby. Just down the street are a few restaurants and a Starbucks. The neighborhood was quiet and it had lots of parking. The apartment was perfect for us.
Wonderful experience for our first try using vrbo versus renting a hotel room. Great communication. Very homey feeling in a nice neighborhood. I went with my 3 teenage kids so it was nice to have extra rooms for those wanting to have solitude.
I was so pleased with this spot!! Perfect for what I needed! I will be back!! Great location!
Would stay again
Great alternative to a hotel when traveling for a tournament! Great, safe neighborhood....close to shopping and restaurants. We would definitely come back again!
We each traveled from Ohio,North Carolina and Tennesse to meet in Baltimore to visit our moms childhood home and family for her 80th birthday. Our stay was wonderful and comfortable. Close to everything! I would definitely recommend!
We enjoyed our time in Baltimore & this was the perfect place to stay. So cute and quant! Would definitely stay here again!
There for 2 night stay for daughter's Towson graduation. This is just a few blocks from York Rd and 5-10 min drive max to anywhere at TU. Private entrance, narrow stair walk up to 2nd floor. Both mattresses were very comfortable. Didn't really use kitchen but seemed like there were sufficient amenities for basic needs. Overall clean, comfortable and convenient for 3 adults.
my friend and i are travelling tattoo artists so we travel all of the time and hardly stay where we book when we travel. this place is a great place for a clean bed and a comfy stay when you’re in baltimore.
This was a beautiful apartment…old charm & clean! Javid was very nice & accommodating! Best host we’ve ever experienced & quick to respond each time we needed him! We only have 2 recommendations….a towel/washcloth being available for each guest & better lighting in the bathroom… Overall!! An excellent experience! Thanks so much Javid!
