Characteristic Apartment Old Florence (tourist tax €. 6 x day x person included)

fantastic little apartment in a nice quiet part of town. perfect for those who want to eat in most nights- grocery store literally next door! not to mention the best gelato in the city (sabrino) is only a block away.

Attentive, gracious host, very clean apartment, close to main attractions, food and bars very close.

Excellent location to walk to major attractions while well away from tourist crowds.

Beautifully maintained and very clean. Graziano was very helpful. We had a slight issue with the cooling in the bedroom, but we learned that keeping the door closed fixed that issue. It was in a great location and easy to walk to all the places we wanted to see. It was pretty noisy at night due to the location and building noise. The bed also was not very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a great place. It was in a less touristy area of Venice. It was so close to so many great sights. We were a 2 minute walk from a grocery store and laundromat. The only downside was poor communication when checking out. Also great air conditioning on the main floor.

Oh my goodness! The place is so charming, comfy bed, nice bathroom. Favorite thing (besides the amazing price) was the location. A few blocks to Santo Spirito (awesome plaza with good restaurants and very lively), and a quick walk over the bridge to get to the main attractions. It was really nice staying on this side of the river, we mostly heard Italians all around us.

Besides the amazing location, the apartment itself was clean, well equipped, and very fun to stay in. Graziano was a reliable ans gracious host as well. We hope to stay here again!

Great location. Away from, but easy walk to all the history and art. Quiet at night. Soft'ish bed. Kitchen pans and dishes for diy meals. Solid grocery, gelato and restaurants. Highly recommend!

VRBO host met us on arrival and gave us a very good orientation to the unit and the neighborhood. The neighborhood is very active and has everything you need close by. Lots of young people and young families in the neighborhood with lots of activity but things calm down very nice in the evening and we slept great. I give the host in the unit of five out of five.

We were able to walk all over Florence from this location. The apartment was very cute and comfortable and the host was very helpful. There was a nice trattoria across the street, a delicious gelatoria about a block away, and a brewery just down from the gelato store. Highly recommend.

The apartment is in a great location, being south of the Arno and away from the crowds. It is, however, within easy walking distance of all the major “sights” of Florence.There is a “fruit and veg” shop next door and a bottega and trattoria directly opposite. It is a few minutes walk from the south side of Piazza Santo Spirito. Two superb gelateria are also only a couple of minutes walk away. The local area has a wide range of individual shops.The apartment was very comfortable with plenty of storage space. There is nowhere to sit outside, but the Piazza S.S. is a couple of minutes walk away, with seats and cafes.

Liked it very much. The kitchen, etc., seemed badly neglected, although functional. If the host could put a little more effort into lighting, cutlery, basic cooking items, the apartment would take a leap forward. But, I must say, I liked the apartment nevertheless.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights. The apt itself is great, and the location is just perfect. We ate most of our meals within a few blocks and were never disappointed. Between the gelato shop 100m to the right, and everything in santo spirito square, we could have spent the entire trip in tbe neighborhood!

I absolutely loved the property. Graziano was very gracious and accommodating. If I could give more than 5 stars for the location I would. On this side of the Arno it is just a bit more quiet and very slightly less touristy. However was very easy to walk into all the attractions in town. If you stay longer than a few days its fun to explore on the bus system. 12 will take you to Piazzale Michelangelo however stop off first at the bottom of St Stephens and walk up to that. I went for the museums (twice at the Uffizi and Academia) food (tried several local restaurance) and Ambiance (walked an average of 4-5 miles per day. Loved every minute of our stay of 10 days. Apartment is plenty comfortable for 2 or even 3 . Kitchen is functional for lite meals. Shower hot. Everything was clean. I also liked the art and decor which created a charming home like atmosphere. Loved it.

The apartment was comfortable and well equipped, with good access to groceries, restaurants, transportation, and some important sites. We would gladly return.
