The expansive living room opens into the balcony and has a refreshing and cheerful ambiance. It features a large sofa, a dining area with a classy wooden dining table for 4 and a kitchenette. There is also a flat-screen TV and a selection of books to keep the company. In the kitchen, guests can find a coffee machine, an oven, a toaster, an induction hob and a fridge.

Location
 
The apartment is located in one of the most sought-after locality in Chamonix. Its proximity to skiing slopes and a ski shuttle bus stop makes it an ideal base for winter sports lovers. The apartment is in a quiet location in the town which means that guests are at a convenient distance from restaurants, shops and supermarkets. The train station is also hardly 300 meters from the house. The cable car ride is very popular among tourists as it offers the opportunity to appreciate the fantastic views from the top.
 
Chamonix is a well-known winter destination. The resort town is known for hundreds of miles of groomed pistes for skiers of all levels. During summers, the beautiful destination is open for exploring through biking and hiking trails. There is a bicycle store very close to the house. For those who are avid golf lovers, the nearest course is hardly 4 and a half kilometers away. The nearest airport is about 103 kilometers from the house.

    The apartment was a small space, but worked well for 2 people. The decor and furnishings were very comfortable and the location was great! Quiet and far enough away from the bars & restaurants to not hear the late night crowds but anywhere we wanted to go was only a short 5-10 minute walk. The closest pastry & coffee shop was only minutes away! Location was excellent. Upon check-in we got our keys from the safe outside the office (~10pm so office was closed) but quickly learned that the key fab didn’t work and was needed to get into the building and use the stairs or elevator to get to our apartment. Luckily someone let us in but there was no after hours/emergency number so we would’ve been without a place to stay had someone not let us in! The VRBO listing advertises that internet is an included essential, but upon check-in we learned it was available for a fee of €6 per day via a “travel Wi-Fi” box that only worked sometimes. The shower room had a horrible smell whenever someone used the shower or sink, but this could have been due to off season/lack of regular use of the plumbing.
