Stayed Jan 1, 1Souchettes is a great family chalet especially if you have a car. We have had many winter holidays here. The chalet has 4 decent bedrooms 2 en-suite and a family bathroom. The kitchen is well designed open plan, takes a while getting used to ceramic hob. Table seats 8 comfortably. Boot room has access door for easy loading of boots and skis in the morning. Downstairs play area has books & toys to keep most youngster amused for a few hours. However steep stair/ ladder to it is tricky for very young or old We drive to different ski areas each day depending on weather forecast. It takes between 10-15 mins for Chamonix ski lifts or further afield Courmayeur through tunnel or Megeve 40 mins, Verbier an hour. There is a garden to build snowmen and Hot tub on balcony.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We have stayed here several times and would use again. It suits our large family holiday has flexible accommodation and a hot tub.log fire but efficient heating Well serviced by Chamonix All Year The stairs to the lower floor are tricky for very young children 10-15 minute walk to town car essential to get to ski lifts. Good base in chamonix Super market and boulangerie within walking distance Garden for children (but not completely enclosed) Parking good boot room

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Chalet des Souchettes is a charming chalet that's an easy walk from town, or a short bus ride. The quiet location makes it perfect for relaxing after a busy day in town. It has a huge, beautiful yard and a great deck. We found it fit all our needs for cooking and everyone slept comfortably. The bunk room is actually amazing because without any windows, it's dark and quiet and stays cold enough that you can get a deep sleep. Chamonix All Year was excellent to work with -- super responsive and friendly. We'd stay here again!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The chalet is fabulous in all aspects; location, accommodation, cleanliness, outside areas. Perfect for our multi-generation family gathering. Even a play area for our grandson. Chamonix All Year responded immediately to any queries we had and could not have been more helpful. Easy walk to town but a very quiet spot. Two bakeries and a supermarket within 6 min walk. Highly recommended.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved our stay, the accommodation was lovely, very spacious and very clean and comfortable. The chalet had everything you needed, kitchen was lovely and well stocked with plates, knives and utensils etc. All bedrooms were lovely and clean and lovely and warm. The only negative was the lower floor has a very steep staircase. Also, it would have been handy to have a outside key to the boot room which is at the back of chalet. Without this you had to lock the door from the inside therefore bit a of a pain getting ski stuff all outside but having to walk back up to exit via front door. Hot tub was definitely needed after a day on the slopes. The only comments I would make is that there was a 12 min walk to nearest bus stop (which was our main form of transport) which was find but feels longer carrying ski equipment! If you can get skis delivered I would recommend or choose a ski shop close to the bus stop as we used one in the town centre which was hassle to walk with everything (20-25mins walk)! All in all a lovely stay, thank you!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a long stay in the chalet and found it to be a great space for a lot of people. The location is unbeatable if you want to get out of the chaos of town. It's a short 10 minute walk from the main pedestrian street and is super quiet. (With a great boulangerie on the walk!) The bus also runs every 30 minutes and drops you close. The big deck and backyard are wonderful for eating outdoors and enjoying views in all directions. The hot tub was an added bonus, but we didn't use it much because it was a hot summer. The open kitchen and living room makes it an enjoyable space for spending time with others. The kitchen tools could use a bit of an update; we found there were pots that were not compatible with the induction stove top for example. The beds are comfortable and there were plenty of bathrooms. Note that the ceiling on the top level is angled with big wood beams, so not great for tall people. Chamonix All Year was wonderful to work with; super responsive! Overall it's a lovely chalet that we'd return to!

Stayed Jan 24, 2020Property and amenities were exactly as shown on the Vrbo website. Great hot tub, ski gear room and access, and a quiet neighborhood! The only problem encountered was the street it was on was not plowed and very icy since it is on a hill. Otherwise we had a great stay and will be using Vrbo for future vacation rentals.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We booked Chalet des Souchettes for a group of 9, and it was excellent. Dealing with Chamonix All Year was a pleasure, they were very helpful, friendly and prompt. The chalet was comfortable, warm and well laid out for large groups. I would definitely recommend the company and the chalet.
