Stayed Jan 22, 2024This is our first time in New Zealand and this was the first place we stayed on our trip. It was the perfect way to start. The apartment was in a great location, across the street from the lake (in particular the grebe nesting area), and a short walk from the cafe's, shops etc. It's well equipped and has everything you need. We were there for 6 nights and cooked some nights, ate out others. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Stayed Jul 6, 2023Location was very handy. nice to have a gym and pool too. The space was sufficient though our friends staying in the Lakeside Apartments had a much larger unit and paid less for three bedrooms and a large kitchen and table for 8 than we paid for small two bedroom with a decent sized main bathroom (no tub though) and tiny ensuite. First time using a combo washer/dryer appliance - painfully slow. But everything was clean and enough insulation that we didn't need to use heat pumps at night nor electric blanket. If I hadn't seen my friend's unit and known what they paid, I would've thought it was OK value but knowing what they paid, I'd say that you should look around before booking here.
