Central Miami Studio w/ Parking - Coconut Grove

After I sent in pre check in information, I wasn’t sent any codes or who to check in with to get into the building complex, let alone my room. After over an hour of trying to reach someone, someone finally got back to me and gave me the codes. Upon entering my room, I was setting up on my bed, the corner of the bed fell and was about to break. I looked under the bed and saw the bed was being supported by 2x4s. Water pressure in the shower was wildly low, even for Florida standards. The building manager came in the next day to alleviate the problem. Would not recommend.

Need instructions. Had an electric gate and there was a device with a button to open it. We found out the second day about the button from another resident.

Room was not as pictured but communication with host was great. The kitchenette was nice and the private parking was a plus. Will stay again. Might look into reserving directly with owner instead of VRBO as communication with VRBO was not good.

Ok place, didn’t love it that much but it was ok to our needs. Location is nice but the building is quite off

I understand Miami stays are typically expensive and this is located in Coconut Grove, however, I had a few issues.Firstly, parking directions were not clear. We had to park on the street and check-in to get our remote to access the private parking. Wi-Fi password as not shared. Bed was not comfy. Our passcode was invalid on the second day of our stay, although they were helpful on resolving that. The unit was kinda dingy.

On our part we had a hard time filling out the form but when we reached out to them, they were excellent and kind. We need to extend our stay and they were able to help us. The place was clean. It was easy to get into, with their instructions. The kitchen has all we need to cook and eat here. So easy to catch the metro from this location. Would stay here again.

Was a good place to stay for the price. Has a separate check in process which I am not a fan of.

Overall the property was solid, conveniently located. First impression was my room did not look like the photos that were posted on the listing, which can be a bummer when you’re going to be spending nearly 3 weeks in a space. I will say it was clean and had what most people would need. As someone who was traveling for work and staying at the unit for nearly 3 weeks as mentioned, the WiFi was TERRIBLE. It wasn’t always convenient having to leave to head to a restaurant or cafe to take calls and get any meaningful work done. When I reached out, they mentioned that the WiFi is really only good enough for streaming and entertainment, I found it ironic as I could hardly stream anything at night and sometimes it didn’t work at all. Was better of just using the little bit of service I had on my phone. I found this incredibly frustrating after spending thousands of dollars to stay here. Also the elevators, it being an older building were frustrating at times. Luckily since I was on the second floor I only had to take them up and could use the stairs to go down.
