Stayed Sep 2, 2024Beautiful spacious property with a luxuriant garden and delightful views down to the sea and across to Positano. Great location being at the top of the steps down to the beach. We realised that Praiano was the place to be with Positano and Amalfi being incredibly busy. Praiano’s small rocky beach is much quieter with the opportunity to put your towel down for free on the rocks or slipway or pay 50 euros each for a sunbed but get 15 euros off your meal at the delightful La Gavitella restaurant, which we loved. Perfect location, great food and friendly staff. Sunbeds elsewhere on the Amalfi coast are now 100 euros each. Crazy! George was our host at the property. He looked after us very well, recommending good restaurants, places to go and buying anything we needed- like a kettle, for example! We loved our visit to Praiano and would definitely recommend this property.

Stayed Aug 12, 2024We had a fantastic time in Praiano. The villa and its garden are a little paradise with amazing views, sunsets and sitting under the lemon trees was the best! Wow! We loved it. Also, we received many fantastic restaurant recommendations all within walking distance. 2 chefs came to the villa and cooked our last dinner for us - delicious !!!

Stayed Sep 20, 2023Aaahh, Santacroce, truly should be called Paradiso di Santacroce. I’m tempted to not share this review so as to keep this lovely secret to ourselves! Giuseppe and Ms. Carmen provided incredible photos, precise details, instant and clear communication, and even a video of how to walk from the steps near St. Januarius to the front door of Santacroce. We spent 6 lovely weeks in Italy and Santacroce in Praiano was the most magical. We have visited Praiano 7 times over the years and will now make Santacroce our new Praiano home. The view of Positano, the garden filled with lemons, orange, lime, pomelo, and pomegranate along with the greatest variety of flowers, cacti, succulents, and grass(so soft on your feet) leaves you wondering how the Garden of Eden must have felt. Coffee, fruit, eggs, toast, and even a bit of Aperol were stocked for our arrival. The bed so comfortable, the sheets divine. Every corner of this home is decorated in such a way that you feel as if you are in an Architectural Digest magazine. There isn’t enough space to continue this painting of words. Just look no further and book Santacroce. Perfetto!
