Stayed Aug 16, 2023The check in information was sent in good time and was accurate. We communicated with Rocco via whatsapp and he was polite, helpful and answered all our questions however random (where to watch the football etc)! The apartment is on the first floor very close to the centre of stresa so is very convenient for shopping and restaurants etc. It has lots of space. Our main issue was that we were there in a heatwave and the heat was inescapable. There was one fan so we bought a second for the other bedroom. I really wished for air conditioning! Stresa itself is very beautiful but we didnt find loads to do as a family. We didnt hire a car, so this might have helped find more activities. We swam in the lake and visited the islands and palaces nearby but could have done with some other family friendly activities so im not sure I would recommend Stresa as a place go go with children (8 and 11) for this reason.
