Stayed Jun 17, 2023This was the most expensive and least enjoyable of all the places we stayed in a month long trip .The check in was challenging, we were given the wrong name for the restaurant T to meet, we waited 45 minutes.for someone t lead us to the apartment which had no windows , the glass door to the wash patio was falling off its hinges. The place was not well set up for travelers with clutter of odd decor. No dish towels .When we asked for a second key we weee originally told no then had to make the trip back to the restaurant to pick it up then again after the one roll of toilet paper was gone we had to go back again, Then we were woken up and yelled at by someone coming into the apt. the day before we left , seemingly to change sheets. She was very angry when we told her no as we weee leaving the next day. The downstairs neighbor was yelling at someone all day everyday. Not a pleasant experience.

Stayed May 12, 2025The apartment was really nice for our 13 day stay. Centrally located and convenient. The check in process was smooth and Roberta was very helpful!. Tile through out is a nice feature. Apartment comes fully equipped. There are grocery stores & coffee shops nearby. Easy walk to the ferry to visit surrounding areas. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. The apartment is in a building with several other residences so some times you do hear the neighbors. All and all - It was a great place to stay!

Stayed May 5, 2023Before arrival, Massimo was really helpful and connected us with drivers and tours. He responded quickly and helped us understand what the options were. We were asked to notify when we were three hours from arriving, which I sent to massimo but the check in person didn’t respond in good time. We had some uncertainty about connecting. Check-in itself was frustrating because the contact person was late to the meeting point, and the cleaning fee they charged seemed steep (€150). Insisted on cash payment as well. Turned out the floors were still somewhat sticky although the apartment was generally clean. The space itself is quite dark and there was a lot of noise from neighbors (arguing into the late evening) plus early morning street noise. The only venting for the bathroom is through a window into the living area, which is also not great. Shower was fine, though. The location is really great for convenience and perhaps would be ok for those who are less sensitive to sound. The check in person seemed new to the job.

Stayed Oct 7, 2016My wife and I recently visited Italy for a second time and decided to include Amalfi on the itinerary this time. We also decided to use VRBO at several places along the way. Not at all disappointed and very happy to have chosen this property. Andrea was a terrific host and very easy to work with. He provided us with a thorough overview of the apartment and suggestions on things to do and see. The apartment was the perfect size and central location for my wife and myself. Spotlessly clean and thoroughly outfitted with anything we could need or want. Many amenities and decorated in such a way that it made you feel very much at home. Dined at one of the restaurants Andrea suggested and did get to meet the owner big Antonio (aka Tony). Highly recommended.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My husband and I leased this apartment for 3 nights. We found it to be just as pictured. It was both nice and clean, the bed comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, we however, totally took advantage of taking in the local foods and had some amazing food. We fell totally in love with Amalfi and it's kind locals. We felt like we were extended family! The apartment was great because we could go out and return throughout the day. It's locale is its best asset for sure. The apartment is perfect for a couple. Andrea is super helpful and we also fell in love with Nello, the little 85 y/o gentleman who works for (volunteers but keeps his tips) Andrea at his restaurant. Our children flew into Rome on Monday and as we took the ferry to Salerno and the train to Termini to meet them with the plan to go onto Florence. We decided to change plans and return to Amalfi since we were spending 3 days in Rome and none of the kids are art buffs. It was the right call because they too fell in love with the area. When we returned we stayed in the Villa Serena also managed by Andrea. We stopped by the restaurant to get the keys and Nello teared up to see us again and with our kids. As he opened a bottle of wine for us he serenaded us with an Italian song! As he poured our wine one drop of wine dripped down the bottle. He dipped his finger in it and rubbed it behind our 15 year old son's ear and spoke in Italian. We asked Andrea to translate. It is Italian tradition and is meant as both a wish of good fortune and a blessing. That was the cutest experience! Short story: if you have the chance to go to Amalfi, GO!! Andrea was super to work with and is now helping us get some local wine purchased and shipped. He will be our go to in the future for sure. One added thing is the local bus or ferry by boat connects all of the towns of the Amalfi Coast making it easy to get around. We WILL be returning to Amalfi, without a doubt!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Andrea was a wonderfully agreeable and friendly host. He responded immediately to any needs or questions. He carried our luggage up the steps to the apartment. The apartment was beautifully tiled, clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Drinks, water, juices, teas, sugar and jams were generously supplied. There was a great restaurant right outside our building. We really loved our time in Amalfi.
