Stayed Jan 11, 2025We had a great time in Sayulita, and the Downtown Surf Shack was great for us. It is very small, but there is a nice outdoor patio for chilling after a day at the beach and a perfect breakfast spot just below. It is located right in the middle of what's happening and a very short walk to the beach. It was perfect for us. We are a close couple who prefers to stay away from luxury.I will note, however, that it may not be perfect for just anybody. The noise from the nearby bars and clubs is extremely loud, especially on weekend nights. I would recommend ear plugs and/or noise-cancelling headphones. The shower is either scorching hot or freezing cold, and it seems impossible to get it just right. We are fine just going with the flow, but if these things bother you, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.For us, it was just right, and I don't think you'd find any better bang for your buck!

Stayed Mar 2, 2024This place was beautiful. Definitely a little smaller than pictured but it works great for two close people. In the heart of sayulita, the location is great. Definitely able to hear loud night music every night if that bothers you. Very nice cleaning ladies too. Would stay here again!

Stayed Feb 17, 2024Property was run down, no hot water and numerous lights out in both the room and the property. Property was nto very clean. Staff were great.
