Stayed Apr 23, 2025These cabins are chock full of interesting memorabilia! The owner is quite entertaining and regaled us with tales of his travels. The outdoor space was perfect for our group to gather and visit. The location was excellent and within walking distance of many restaurants. The new mattress slept very well and the A/C was perfect. Only 2 drawbacks: the units could benefit from a more thorough cleaning.....the noise from jets flying overhead was sometimes overwhelming.

Stayed Apr 18, 2025Captain Joe’s was a great way to escape for awhile. The decorations used allowed you to feel transported from reality. The jungle hideaway outside made it very relaxing. Both our hosts were wonderful and very helpful.

Stayed Feb 21, 2025The property is in a great location. Communication with the host was outstanding. Check in easy. The vibe of the property is exactly as described- it was private and the themed furnishings were fun. Cons: the bed was not comfortable, the mattress on the pull-out was not comfortable. Inside the unit was very dark- there are no overhead lights in the living or bedroom- just two soft lamps. The host was wonderful to interact with!
