Captains Quarters, Less than 1 block to the beach!!Covered Porch, Full Kitchen

Perfect place for a couple indeed. 1 block away from the beach was perfect. Everything on the property was clean.

Lots of shops nearby and beach is a quick walk away. Unit is small but nice for 2 people. Stairs up to the unit are narrow and not very wide to step on. Only complaint is the accessability but it doesn't advertise itself as accessable. Definitely would recommend

I was very pleased. The rooms were very clean.

Everything was great!! The pillows were so comfortable, the mattress was very comfortable and we were able to sleep throughout the night without the tossing and turning! I had a question regarding the door lock and Ian responded back within minutes..3 minutes to be exact!! Thank for being a 10/10 host, we will abosolutely be returning for our 1 year!!

Place was even more adorable than anticipated. Well and thoughtfully laid out, linens provided, close to beach and beach access. This is a hidden gem and perfect for a couples get away.

The house had all the amenities we needed for a weekend getaway. The host provided clear instructions to access the property and a Wi-Fi password that worked great. I would recommend this property if you’re taking a trip to Nags Head.

We just kept saying how cute this little apartment was! 2 minute walk to the beach. In walking distance to several restaurants, a brewery and shopping. Very clean, nice balcony, and we tried to google where to buy the sofa lol. Great weekend getaway for two.

I loved this stay! The home is cute, comfortable and very clean. It was amazing to walk just a few steps to enjoy the beautiful beach sunrise. I absolutely will return.

Pros are: great location, one block from beach access. Mostly well maintained and clean. Easy to access. Cons: There were hairs on the towels, so maybe the cleaning needs to be better. There was a stain on the blanket on the bed. The door to the patio is damaged and light can be seen through the middle of the door. Overall: a fine stay, but the cleaning of towels and sheets can be improved.

Location to the beach was excellent, apartment was clean. Had everything we needed for a weekend get away. Host was very responsive and polite.

Beautiful condo, very clean. Great location within walking distance to the beach, and a short drive to several restaurants and shops. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I loved everything about this property! The size was perfect for a couple to stay in. I loved the patio deck. I ate my breakfast out there. The quick walk to the beach was amazing ! We got to meet the couple who cleans the property. They were so pleasant to talk to and made sure we had everything we needed. We are already talking about coming back again. Thank you for helping to make our anniversary trip special!

One of the best places we've stayed... can't beat the cleanliness and close proximity to beach and other shops/ restaurants. If it hadn't been 1000 degrees, we could have easily walked to several of our favorite destinations. So glad we opted to stay here rather than a motel-we're definitely keeping this one on our list.

We stayed for a quick anniversary trip. House is greatly located to the beach, quick walk. Walking distance to a great restaurant Shaka Beach Bar and Grille.

Captain's Quarters was a great little place for two to stay. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach as well as the short distance to many other things, I.e. grocery, restaurants, Hwy 158. It's located almost halfway between the Corolla lighthouse and Hatteras lighthouse as well as being very close to Jockey's Ridge and Wright Bros. Memorial.The owners supplied many amenities like shampoo, body wash and creme rinse. Very thoughtful of them.We loved the covered deck!We'd love to go back!

The condo was very clean, but the kitchen was a bit old with no dishwasher.

Overall it's good stay. Clean, amply furnished and close to the beach. Owner was very responsive to inquiries. I docked one star due to the no cancelation policy when I made reservation 3 or 4 weeks in advance. Gave stayed at competitors that allowed cancelation prior to check-in date. No dishwasher. Also the cooling wasn't working properly when we checked in but promptly fixed within a few hours. The shower worked well but could use a grab bar of some kind and traction.

The bedroom, living room and kitchen were just right. It was somewhat light on some of the cleaning essentials (garbage bags, toilet paper, wipes, cleaning spray). But overall it was a great stay!

This is a cute apartment style setting. Great for a couple on vacation. It has everything you need for a stay. The place was very clean. The apartment is in a great location. I would stay here again.

Was a nice clean apt. Has cooking supplies and everything we needed. Very nice place- right in the middle of places we wanted to visit.

Was very nice. Only problem was couldn't cook on one of the stove tops big one didn't work

The property was exactly as listed and pictured. Very Clean and everything we needed was in the apartment. Pricing was very agreeable. Would definetly stsy here again.

We had a nice time and the location was great. The unit was clean. I would recommend adding a kitchen dish cloth and towels, a toaster, pillowcases for the 2 extra pillows, and hangers in the bedroom closets. These are all things that can easily be fixed.

Great location, close to beach, restaurants, sporting goods store and shopping. We were disappointed in a couple of things: Was advertised as a full kitchen, however….. The large stove burner did not work No toaster to make morning toast Overall would gladly book again

Great location and plenty of room for a quiet weekend getaway. Will definitely be staying again .
