Cap de Salou: IMPRENSABLE SEA VIEW

It was a very nice and relaxing stay. This was due to the beautiful apartment and the wonderful view. Ms. Barrou is very helpful and accommodating when it comes to questions. All in all, always happy to come back :)

The apartment has a wonderful view of the Mediterranean from its terrace and every room. It is spacious, with plenty of room for two couples and kids - not that we had any! The kitchen has everything you need. It is nice to love in a well-used apartment. The owner is very helpful and responsive, and the concierge who is in every morning can help with any difficulties. Early in the year, when we were there, you can park right outside. This may be more challenging in the summer. You need the car to reach town and shops etc. The area is full of interest - much history but also amusement parks for those who like them, and of course the beaches. We loved our long walks by the sea. We also enjoyed the easy access to Barcelona (an hour and a half druve). We thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay for a long time (we were two months) or short.

Our stay was for 4 adults in 2 double bed rooms (though a twin bunk bed room sleeping 4 remained unused) It was mainly 35 degrees so we had to use at least one of the 2 air con units in the hallway at night & leave the room doors open. Shower power good & facilities all worked well though we'd have liked a proper TV. The apartment & block could both do with a little upgrading, especially the ballustrading. We did have to fix the front room bed when the leg collapsed. This room is great however, as it leads onto the balcony where the view is nice (although you can see Tarragona port) We had a car (& got parked free w/out 2 much trouble) Daily we walked 10 mins to Cala Crancs cove beach which has a great bar & sand out 30M B4 it gets over your head. The nearest couple of restaurants & bars are on way to Cala Crancs with a decent supermarket next door. We walked 25 mins to next hotel conurbation 4 more choice & an especially good Italian. 45 minutes walk along beachfront takes you to Salou where we had a Thai & seafront Seafood restaurant. Kids running amok here but hey, its Salou in the school holidays ! We did go to the excellent Port Aventura. After 5pm ticket price is just 34 euros & only 30 for us over 60's. You have till 9-9.30pm to ride the main attractions as even though the park has summer fireworks starting 10.30-11pm many rides do shut early. We bought a fast pass for 65 euros. Barcelona was an 80 min drive & excellent as was Tarragona. Would we stay again - yes.

We loved our stay here. Every morning a beautiful sunrise over the Sea with walks down to the water. We were close enough for many day trips to different beaches like Pineda, Salou, and Cambrils. We explored the mountains and trails and visited many sights around Tarragona like the Monastery Poblet, the Ferreres Aqueduct, the Tarragona Amphitheater and Circa and more! Many great restaurants in the area and easy to get to markets. We had our car so we also drove up to Barcelona a few times and up to the Costa Brava. Just a lovely spot with everything in the apartment we needed for our month long stay. The apartment is well loved but everything worked and there were clean linens and towels and such a great price for Sea views! Yes, the area is a bit older and the off season can feel empty but it was just what we wanted. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. What a gem of a spot. We hope to return one day. Wonderful views, comfortable apartment, full kitchen and AIR CONDITIONING. MS Rozenn was generous And very accommodating, the location is very convenient and close to everything. Hope to stay next year again.

The appartment is on the 3rd floor of a 10 storied building and it is as wonderful as on the pictures. The view is fantastic. The terrace is in northeastern direction, so there is sun until late morning and shadow during afternoon and evening so that it's not too hot and very comfortably with a light breeze coming up from the sea. We very much enjoyed to relax there and have dinner with a stunning view. We stayed there during the first two weeks of June and did not need the air conditioning, although there were some really hot days. The appartment is very well equipped and was very clean (I must admit that I have quite high demands on cleanliness, but floors, cupboards and also the washing machine were in impeccable condition). The location is excellent, 1 hour drive to Barcelona, 15-20 min drive to the centre of Tarragona with excellent restaurants, many beautiful sights in Tarragona and around, a beautiful little beach (Platja de la Cala Crancs) in 5 min walking distance and of course several other beautiful beaches and sights in the whole region. Finding a space to park the car was never an issue, we often found a space right in front of the building. In general, we had the feeling that there were not too many tourists during that time and we enjoyed that it was not crowded at sights and beaches. Communication with the owner Mrs Barrou was excellent and very pleasant. During our stay there was a small issue with the toilet flush, but Mrs Barrou and the caretaker Felix did everything to solve the problem as quickly as possible, so it had no impact on our holidays. We can strongly recommend the appartment and the region for a beautiful holiday!

We stayed as a family of four adults. Spacious clean accommodation equipped with everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Wardrobes and drawers to be able to unpack all belongings. Wonderful terrace with outdoor furniture with a great view of the sea. Quiet location. Roadside parking. Photos advertised are accurate. 5 minute drive to center of Salou. Communication with the owner was excellent with prompt responses to any questions we had. Would not hesitate to stay again and highly recommend.
