Great location, size of condo, fully furnished and stocked. Problem with air conditioning was resolved as was bathtub replacement of fixtures. Would have been nice to know about these issues before I arrived. Would love to stay here again.
We just returned home after 3 1/2 month stay at this lovely condo. It is conveniently located near the elevator on the top floor making the move in & out as well as picking up groceries etc. very easy. It is centrally located and allowed us easy freeway access to travel both north & south. Owners are delightful and responded promptly to any questions we had. We loved the pool & fitness center and used both almost every day.
Well appointed 2bd/2ba unit. Clean quiet property that also has a nice pool and fitness center that I used regularly. Would definitely come back again.
Some glitches occurred but nothing major. People before us had pets and I have allergies. Cleaning girl did a great job but we got in late. The pool was not heated and the weather was cold. Hot tub was good. Condo has all the necessary conveniences. Great location.
Our experience with this apartment was extremely disappointing. The problems we encountered fall into two categories: cleaning and maintenance. When we arrived, it was immediately evident that the apartment was far from adequately clean. The entryway runner was soiled and covered with spots; the kitchen floor was so dirty that we had wash it four times; the range was covered with grease. It was also obvious that little or no dusting had been done for a long time. Dust covered the shelves in the living room and kitchen, the floor and jacuzzi in the master bedroom. Moreover, the showers were on the grungy side with lime deposits on the walls; the outside patio deck was astonishingly dirty, and the barbeque there had food on the grill from former guests. For these reasons, as much as we like grilling, we chose not to use the barbeque during our stay. As for maintenance, the linoleum kitchen floor has a sizeable piece missing, and the hardwood floors in two rooms are badly in need of refinishing. When we arrived, we found the towel rack in the second bathroom on the floor, various ceiling lights burned out, the living room TV not working, the GFIs and other electrical outlets inoperative. It took four phone calls over two days to get the Irvine property manager to answer us. When we asked why she hadn't answered our earlier calls, she said she was in the field and didn't get them. To her credit, when she responded, she did send out very capable and cooperative people to deal with the various problems. We do want to emphasize that the owner, who was out of the country, was admirably responsive in that he spoke in a timely fashion with the property manager about these problems, and also made arrangements for a Cox technician to come to the apartment to fix the living room TV. However, the salient point here is that as paying guests we should not have had to spend our precious vacation time encountering these issues, coordinating the various repair people, and doing a good deal of dusting and scrubbing on our own. All of these issues (and others we could name) should have been addressed before we arrived. The result of all of these negatives was that we left the apartment a week early. To us, this was a real shame because we genuinely enjoyed the building itself. It's a lovely condo complex with a sparkling pool, exceptionally nice landscaping, and helpful, friendly people at the entry gate.
The unit was truly FULLY furnished and ver clean. A quite community but with all the things you need. Owners were cooperative and kind.
I have just arrived back home after 3 fabulous months staying at this property. The condo is located on the top floor (4th floor) overlooking the pool. It has a balcony with BBQ where you can sit and enjoy the views. The owners have the penthouse stocked with everything you could possibly need. I never once needed something that wasn't already there. The condo has a stackable washer/dryer that made life very easy. We had a dedicated parking spot in the parking garage that was right by the elevator. There is plenty of guest parking too. Every morning I walked the condo grounds. There is a walking path that is approx. 1/3 mile. It winds around behind the buildings is lined with palm trees and grassy areas. It is very peaceful and a great way to get your day started. Although the Metropolitan is close to John Wayne Airport, the only noise I ever heard was from an occasional helicopter. The Metropolitan is within 8-10 minutes to Fashion Island and Balboa Island. There is a major shopping center (Target, Starbucks, Costco, Wholefoods, Homegoods etc) just 6 minutes north of the complex. The owners Rael and Andrea are wonderful! All of my questions during my stay were answered immediately. My deposit was returned to me the same day I departed. I highly recommend this unit and look forward to my next visit!!
We throughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful apartment which was well located in southern California. The property has many amenities such as steam shower, fireplace, outside BBQ with very clear instructions / details on how to use. All in all it exceeded our expectations. Finally, the owner was a pleasure to deal with. Super efficient, prompt with any queries or enquires that we had. This is what compelled us to write this review. (we are not review people !!) Thank you for making it a most enjoyable stay where we were there for approx 32 days.
Enjoyed our stay immensely. Loved the pool, fitness, hot tub and lovely grounds. The condo was well-equipped and very comfortable. The owners were most helpful and the security staff and management were excellent. We highly recommend this home.
This will be our 6th year in row coming to this beautiful oasis. We love the top floor overlooking the gorgeous pool and palm trees. Sitting on the top deck with beautiful birds and sun is the best way to spend a holiday away from snow. This condo has everything you need. Home away from home.
