Earth Dwelling is a beautiful construction with a sod roof. It is a weave of white washed logs and bridge planks. The home is curved into the hillside giving all rooms natural light with southern and western exposures. Each room looks out onto the bird sanctuary where the birds sing, feed, bath and nest. You to will feel comfortable, relaxed and at ease.
The back drop to the property are the Bridger Mountains, Spanish Peaks, Gallatin Range and Tobacco Roots.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025Perched on a small hill with beautiful views on both sides , this spot felt peaceful and private, yet was only minutes from downtown. The rustic living space added to the charm, and the location made it easy to enjoy both the natural scenery and nearby amenities. Our host was warm and welcoming, giving us a tour of the property and even guiding us on a lovely walk to the pond—a perfect touch to an already memorable stay.

Stayed Oct 11, 2024This is a unique and special place. Tucked away, yet close enough to downtown and MSU. Very comfortable, quiet and cozy. We loved the outdoor area out front. Susan was warm, welcoming and accommodating.

Stayed Aug 11, 2024We loved our stay at Susan's earth home. It is remote and the views are amazing from the mountain top. It is located close enough to Bozeman for shopping and activities, yet far enough from town to feel seclude and remote. Perfect in every way for us to enjoy our time of relaxation, shopping, walking, reading and cooking at home. We will be back soon!
