Bright Garden Guest Suite in Los Gatos, Heart of Silicon Valley

Good value for the location, in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood. Comfortable enough for a short term stay but during my long term stay there were a few minor issues that made it less comfortable. As the listing mentioned, the unit is not completely isolated from the rest of the house so the sound will travel, but all was usually quiet enough.

I tried to submit a careful, thoughtful review and the first was rejected. So, I'll keep this brief. The place was as described: neat, clean, and comfortable. There were a few problems related to noise (I could hear the owner walking around in the night and early morning, which kept me up) as well as the numerous signs around listing the numerous rules that made me a little uncomfortable. In addition, the walk into town can be quite pleasant, but I tried walking back at night and it was very dark. If you stay here, definitely rent a car or only walk during the day. Overall the stay was fine: I come to this town about five times a year, but likely will not stay here again.

We really enjoyed our time here. The patio is beautiful and inviting. There is not a kitchen, just a microwave and mini fridge. Our busy schedule meant that we were not cooking in the unit anyway, but that may be an inconvenience for some.

Not as described or pictured. One bed was ok other was not even as big as a twin. It was a flip out single chair. Patio messy not inviting. No soap in dispenser in bathroom. Small refrigerator and microwave no kitchen.

Great place, as advertised and looks like the photos. Our only complaint are the tiny dead bugs left all over the floor leading to the bathroom and all over the bathroom. Leaving this message so the owners can have a word with their maid.

This is a lovely place to stay, with new furniture and lots of helpful notes with directions on where to find things. The towels are soft and fluffy. The bed in the master bedroom is comfortable. There's an iron and ironing board as well as a hair dryer. The restaurants and shops of Los Gatos are an easy 30 minute walk away through beautiful neighborhoods if you want to leave your car behind. My only complaint is that the listing says there's a kitchenette, but what that means is that there's a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. You will need to do the dishes in the bathroom sink. There is no hot plate or way to cook.
