New, renovated, very bright apartment of 80 square meters on the fourth floor of a 60s house. The building has an elevator which is accessed by four steps. It has central heating, bed linen, towels, tablecloths and dishes, washing machine, iron, drying rack, electric broom. LCD TV and WiFi.

The apartment is located halfway between the Isola and Bovisa districts. The Island is one of the most trendy and fascinating areas of Milan, home to studios, galleries, small charming shops, periodhouses, bars and restaurants, artisan workshops and the House of Memory in the shadow of the Vertical Forest and skyscrapers of Porta Nuova.
La Bovisa is an old working class neighborhood, characterized by ancient factories now reused by the Milan Polytechnic and by art studios. The neighborhood is experiencing a new youth, thanks to the premises and activities brought from the Polytechnic campus.
Right in front of the house there are the historic Branca brothers' factory, a distillery renowned all over the world with the annexed museum since 1845, and the Cascina Boscaiola, a historical complex of the fifteenth century, a hunting estate that belonged first to the Visconti and then to the Sforza. , now a private residence but with a public garden.
At 100 meters from the house there is also a large Esselunga supermarket, a municipal pharmacy, a typical Milanese trattoria L'altra Isola (behind the Cascina Boscaiola), bars, pizzerias and a large municipal park in Via Livigno.

The apartment can be reached from the Maciachini stop of the M3 Metro line in 3 minutes on foot. From Malpensa airport you can take the Malpensa Express train to the Central station and from here the M3 line (yellow) to Maciachini (3 stops). From Linate airport, if you do not want to take a taxi, there is the Linate Shuttle which takes you to the Central station and from there the M3 line to Maciachini (3 stops).
The apartment is 6 metro stops M3 (yellow) from the shopping district of Via Montenapoleone and 7 stops from the Duomo.
Along the M3 line there are intersections with the other lines of the Metro M1 (red), M2 (green) and M5 (lilac).
In addition to the Metro 3, in Piazza Maciachini it stops the tram 4 which leads to the Niguarda Hospital and the Castello Sforzesco and the bus lines 70 and 82. In via Lancetti (2 minutes away on foot) it stops tram 2, the Passante Ferroviario and trolleybus lines 90, 91 and 92.

    Alberto was the best host! He is friendly and helpful and speaks English well. The apartment is in a nice area with grocery stores nearby. It is very neat and well appointed. He suggested a cafe not far away called Momo’s which was excellent! Thank you Alberto!
