Luz is a quaint little holiday getaway along the Algarvian coastline. You will find everything you need here for a relaxing holiday getaway. Shops, bars and restaurants, and a beautiful beach are right on your doorstep. The bigger town Lagos is less than 10 minutes' drive away and in the other direction, you will find many small beach towns and breathtaking beaches. Perfect for family, beach, and watersport (surf) trips.

Free public parking nearby. Parking in front of the apartment is not always possible in summer, but there will be plenty of space in the surrounding streets.

    Stayed for 7-nights in June and would happily recommend to others. The apartment is large and bright, and the large kitchen is well stocked with plenty of crockery and equipment. Its a 5-10 min easy walk down to the beach but its a bit harder on the way back up as its uphill, so please bear this in mind if you have small children or mobility issues. The apartment is also on the 2nd floor so may not be suitable for all. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are very large with plenty of storage and the balcony running across the entire front of the property has amazing sea views. The water pressure in the bathrooms is great with plenty of hot water. There is no aircon in the apartment however we managed ok in 30+ degree heat. We used the awning, shutters and curtains to keep the sun out at the hottest points of the day. My one negative is that the seating on the balcony really isn't that comfortable, and if I had one strong recommendation, it would be to invest in better outdoor furniture. The balcony is such an asset and the seats just let it down a little. Apart from that I would happily stay again and would recommend to others too.

    Location was excellent to the beach, hikes, restaurants, and the view is beautiful. Customer service was very good, they were quick to replace a moldy shower mat. As for the unit it self, the kitchen was super nice, had everything we needed, it’s a very large two bedroom open air apartment and it was very clean inside the apartment. There are many restaurants around, but we highly recommend you making dinner reservations, as we quickly found out. There are a couple of grocery stores within walking or a very short drive to Lagos for much larger ones and cheaper. Our disappointments were that we had to hose down the balcony to enjoy it. The furniture on the balcony unfortunately is very uncomfortable. Needs to be replaced or new cushions. The awning is ripped, but they had a guy out to measure to replace, unfortunately for us it was not completed during our stay. But it still worked out. The mattresses were way to hard and need to be replaced ASAP along with the bed linen and towels. Towels were very skimpy, fresh new larger towels would have been great. Those are the biggest disappointment of our stay. Overall If they do our recommendations I don’t think you can go wrong renting this unit for a wonderful stay in Praia da Luz.

    Nice bright apartment unfortunately the shower door had no seal causing water to fall on slippery tiles which we found dangerous also the awning was broken Great location and views

    The property had everything you could need! We stayed over Christmas and enjoyed waking up to the views of the ocean every day and views of the hills out the kitchen window. There are grocery stores within walking distance and the ocean is only 10 minutes away. There is parking just behind the property, but you won't need your car in Luz itself. I recommend reading the guidelines they send carefully, as we did end up having to leave the windows open most of the time due to the dampness in the apartment. The check-in process was very simple, almost too simple, as we didn't receive any information on how to work the fireplace or that the hot water only lasts for one shower and you need to wait 30 minutes after (which meant a lot of coordination for a family of 4!). However, the property managers were very responsive to our questions and extremely helpful! Overall, we would love to stay here again during the summertime, as we miss the views already!
