In short, the unit is fine and in a great location. In fact, this was our second stay at the property. But when we arrived (late November in Montana), the unit was like an icebox. There is no thermostat in the unit (everything is controlled remotely at the management company). NOT ideal. After sitting in a 45 degree unit for hours wearing our winter coats, hats and gloves, we became increasingly frustrated by the lack of urgency to resolve the problem. In the end, the furnace was broken and we spent the entire weekend without heat. They finally -- many hours later -- brought space heaters, which finally did warm the unit to a manageable temperature. We understand things happen, but we were highly disappointed in the response we received to an incident (no heat) which should have required immediate action. We also didn't feel comfortable leaving the unit with the space heaters running, so we missed many of the events we travelled to Missoula for. Again, we understand furnaces break. But given the situation, we expected far more urgency, and perhaps even a partial refund. We were offered the opportunity to move, but since the largest football game in the state was being played that weekend, there were no hotel rooms or vrbos available. Because of that, I cannot recommend the unit, and suggest you look elsewhere.

Fairly nice property, but the interior is in need of some cosmetic repairs (worn/chipped paint, rough counter edges in kitchen). The alley behind the property, where parking is located, can be crowded and the neighboring dumpster was overflowing into the parking area while I was there.

House was clean and bright. The alley entrance was less than ideal. Peeling paint made it feel dirty even though it is clean.Needed lightbulb and they were very prompt to respond

Cute comfy place! Everything was clean, which is always appreciated! The bed was soft & comfortable. It is not a full kitchen, which wasn’t a problem for me, the host had coffee and tea available and a bowl of snacks, which was also much appreciated.

The neighborhood location was perfect for our stay. However, the location of the property fronted an alley which was not what we were expecting based on listing pictures. It felt depressing pulling up to other people's trash cans and the open dumpster from the apartment complex next door. The property had lots of windows, but the view was not something we wanted to highlight. Pictures did not seem to accurately portray the inside of the property. The floor was concrete which gave you the feeling of being in a garage/workshop. The listing indicates the property has a kitchen. The fact that the this was not an actual kitchen--with a stove and oven--was buried deeper into the listing. We were visiting our college-aged son and had planned to have some family dinners and hang out together. There was not adequate furniture to comfortably accommodate 3 people. The tv had no instructions, so we spent a great deal of time trying to figure out how Chromecast worked for this particular tv. We are familiar with streaming services, but the setup for this tv was not straightforward. The bedroom was dark with no closet. However, the bed was very comfortable and sheets were soft and nice. The bathroom was clean, but the shower finish was peeling in almost every area of the shower. We were really looking forward to our stay, but felt the pictures portrayed a different view than what our experience was. This place did not feel comfortable or homey to us at all.

The bedroom and living room are very clean and even comes with snacks. Breakfast, donuts, lunch, ice cream, record and a skate shop are all within a 5min walk. 10 minute walk to downtown. Perfect place!

No stove or hot plate, purchased a toaster oven and kicked off breaker. Waited 2 hours to get turned back on. Washer and dryer separate entrance, multiple bugs everywhere, AC not cooling off the filter was clogged(we cleaned it)no outlet in bathroom, front door does not latch unless locked, kitchen and bathroom sink slow draining, and no smart tv.

Stayed here while awaiting closing of a real estate deal. Super convenient location, very quiet, and appreciated the off street parking and private entrance. Close to everything. Didn’t love the antenna TV service - a smart TV would have been nice to be able to log into our own accounts. The futon “couch” was - improveable - but other amenities were as described. I agree with a previous renter who thought a place to hang clothes would have been helpful. Property manager was very responsive and accommodating. Little back yard area was cute. Overall a very good stay. Appreciated the on site laundry. Could have been cleaner at check in but I don’t know how long it was empty before our rental. Someone nearby had a dog that pooped extensively (stinky) in the side yard and left us a present one morning on the sidewalk, but I don’t think that’s the property owner’s fault. Overall a very good stay with very friendly and responsible property management. Would totally recommend.

Great little ground level apartment at back of house private entrance. Sweet yard to relax in. Walkable to downtown and U district. Easy driving to the rattlesnake. Farmers market was fun with tasty baked goods and amazing vegetables.

It was clean. But, there is no mountain view unless you stand on the landing and peak between the trees. There is no place to hang your clothes. Kitchenette does not include a stove top. Because you enter from the ally, it didnt feel safe. Couldn't sit in the back yard area because of the trash smell. Overall, it wasn't bad, but needed a better and updated description. Won't stay there next time.
