This spacious studio apartment on the first floor of a two story home less than a block from the marina in beautiful Boston Harbor features a full kitchen and bath, queen bed, HD television, wifi, and continental breakfast - all in a garden setting. The kitchen is equipped for preparing and serving your own meals, along with a stocked coffee bar with a Keurig coffee maker.
The unit (approximately seven miles from downtown Olympia) is a short three minute walk to the marina where kayaks and paddle boards are available for rent. A public boat launch is next to the marina that includes a snack bar and mini grocery with a variety of food items, including beer and wine, and a beer and wine bar that is open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily. Friday evenings during summer feature music and local brewery tastings on the deck at the marina. A snack bar is open daily with a specials for Sunday breakfasts. the Marina owners also feature occasional Trivia nights and Wine Tastings.
The Pterodactyl Schooner, a wooden two-mast sailing ship, owned and operated by local residents, offers two-hour sailings from the Marina dock throughout the summer and fall.
Burfoot County Park, filled with hiking paths and beach access, is a short walk away. The Woodard Bay Natural Resources Conservation Area, featuring an 800 acre site that protects habitat for marine shoreline animals along five miles of shoreline in South Puget Sound (aka Salish Sea) is minutes away .
RV and/or boat parking for renters is also available on our property for a nominal fee ($15 to $25 per night).
