Stayed May 3, 2025Centralized location in the older part of the city, so many of the notable sites were nearby. Marco was super patient with us as we had a two hour delay on the autostrade getting there. Near one of the two marinas and only a mile from the other for getting on ferry.ferryheontheferriesferries.foother cities.

Stayed Mar 6, 2025The neighborhood is home to several students of the conservatory and afternoons are filled with the sounds of scales and pieces of music being practiced. As well, there are about a dozen street cats, some of whom are friendly. Aocal woman feeds them every evening. The neighbors in the building are friendly. The appartment is just the right size and cozy. The kitchen is qell equipped and there are several supermarkets close by. Down by the.water there is a walkway called Lungomare, where you can stroll, sit and read, or watch people. On the last day i took bus 2 from the stop at Lungomare and ended up at a market where they sold the freshest of everything.Seems a weird thing to mention is the toilet has a bidet with warm water.

Stayed Nov 6, 2024The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. It was located an easy walk from both the train station and ferry terminal. Marco was great to communicate with and made sure we felt welcome when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks.

Stayed Oct 6, 2024The unit was a long walk up and down. The elevator opened at 7:45 am and closed at 21:00. We are older and found it very difficult to manages especially with suitcases. The towels were like sand paper. The sheets were incredibly scratchy. Not a comfortable stay and we would not stay again.

Stayed Apr 11, 2024A charming little place in the historical part of Salerno. Very convenient to get anywhere. There is a public elevator just in front of the main door which makes it easier to go up but there is an access via the stairs as well. The communication with Marco was smooth and friendly. Marco pointed out on the map everything we wanted to know. We had a great stay. Thanks a lot.

Stayed Oct 2, 2023Great location. Easy walk to churches, beach, train station, restaurants, boat tours and beautiful street art. Host, Marco was amazing. He was very helpful as this was my first time traveling in Italy. I would stay here again. It took the taxi driver a little bit to find the square for the public elevator. Marco made himself available via phone to give clear directions. As everywhere in Italy, there are some stairs to climb when you get out of the elevator and again to get up to the apartment. Not nearly as many as other places I stayed. Gracie Marco for making this place available!

Stayed May 26, 2023The property is located in old town, a few blocks away from the major touristy parts. You can walk to about anywhere in the old town in under 10 minutes. The ferry terminal and main train station is about a 20 minute walk. The property is located directly across from a public elevator, which unfortunately was unavailable during our stay due to undergoing a major refit. It’s a decent climb up cobblestone streets if the elevator isn’t operating. Marco is a great host who was very informative and helpful during our stay. He was instrumental in us receiving lost luggage from the airline. We would stay here again.
