Our first stay in Harper's Ferry was wonderful. The location was perfect. Honestly i loved the sound of the train closeby. I hope to return soon.

First time to Harpers Ferry and WOW! What a town! The Inn is in a great location, walkable to everything. Communication prior to arrival was unique (in a very good way). Check in instructions, info about the rental and recommendations about the town were all very helpful and appreciated. The reserved parking spot is priceless. We were not bothered by the noise of the trains because we're used to trains but if you are a light sleeper, consider bringing a fan or noise machine. My only criticism is that I do agree with another review about the futon. It is not comfortable to sit on and no TV in the bedroom (which may be a positive for some). We would stay here again.

Location couldn’t be better, having a parking spot was a huge bonus. The unit needed a little tlc. The stove vent hood was very dirty. A previous renter actually wrote in the dust, clean me. The toilet was loose and wobbly. The Kureg needs replaced, doesn’t fill to the proper level. The space heater did not work. Location, location, location.

Overall, a fantastic location and property. Little things, like how do you turn on the heaters? The bedroom lamps going on every time the heater went on etc., was annoying but fine. Some more information about these things would have added to the stay. I absolutely loved the private porch off the bedroom on the main floor.

Perfect little stop for an overnight stay. The room was a little chilly at first but the space heater provided heated it right up. The location was great, next to the trailhead and some restaurants. The train was loud for the first few passes but we didn’t even notice it most of the night. We would recommend this location and would stay here again!

Really enjoyed staying at this Inn and walking in the morning on Appalachian trail and thru the town. Everything is literally right outside the doorstep for you walk to - I live near an international airport so the train did not bother us at all:). The apartment was also very clean and cozy. Hope to come again!

We had a three night stay. Parking is a big issue in the old, historic area of Harper's Ferry. This place has private parking, which is a big plus. Owners need to replace the very uncomfortable futon with a nice sofa-bed. Cooking facilities are adequate except that a larger skillet and some spatulas would be useful. Location is close to many restaurants and historic spots. Train noise may be an issue for some, but did not bother us.
