Chloe, my Aussiedoodle, and I are excited to meet you. Janet and Chloe
Janet was very helpful and the apartment was very cozy and nicely furnished. Communication was excellent, and she had lots of local info available. Will definitely stay here again when I’m in this area
I selected Janet's apartment because it fit our need. We were four and the space was right for our needs. Also, I am a Beaufort native and I recognized the name of the hostess as a member of a family with whom I was familiar. My family had a very comfortable stay. The facilities were described precisely and the hostess helped us enjoy our stay.
Stayed here while visiting family in the area. This place is in the middle of everything in Beaufort - though stays quiet as it's set back from Live Oaks. Janet was a great host with tons of recommendations and a very friendly dog.
We had a wonderful time staying at your place. Recommended.
Oh man. My partner and I had such a great stay here. Janet, the owner, was incredibly friendly, responsive and hospitable. She even had a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. She is a Salter as well, which connects back to Salter’s Path, which was really cool and added a bit of history to our stay. The apartment above her home was rustic (in all the right ways) and clean, filled with paintings she’d done over the years which were a beautiful addition. Whenever we had questions she was more than willing to assist. We loved it here and will definitely be back!
Janet is an excellent hostess and provided everything we needed for our stay. One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. We even found a bottle of wine waiting for us. Janet also offered late checkout because we arrived so late. Definitely worth visiting again. Thanks, Janet!
This upstairs apartment was quite comfortable. Janet made every effort to ensure it was a great stay. The location was perfect for us with its approximation to downtown Beaufort and it being in a quiet neighborhood. I would certainly stay here again.
Kind host
Not pet tolerant but truly pet friendly. A beautiful panelled apartment that served as a home away from home. Janet wanted to spend time with us, even after working all day, sharing family stories of the home she grew up in and all the necessary info that first timers to Beaufort need to know.
I had a great time at Janet's apartment. She made check in very smooth and easy. The apartment has everything you could need, and even some great extras. Location is perfect for exploring the crystal coast. Definitely recommend!
My partner and I stayed with Janet for three nights! The property was absolutely beautiful, full of lovely wooden furniture and art done by Janet and her family. There were four rooms - a bedroom, a large bathroom (with a great shower), a living room (with TV, couch, plenty of DVDs and games), and a kitchen (table/chairs, fridge and freezer, dishes, simple cooking supplies). There was a coffee maker and coffee provided as well - really, Janet went above and beyond thinking of everything we might have needed. Janet was just the most wonderful hostess - she was full of great recommendations for things to do around Beaufort, and we enjoyed a glass of wine on porch and an outside fire with her and her friends. We would be remiss if we didn't mention Chloe - a friendly, well behaved, and energetic Aussiedoodle who completely stole our hearts. Puppy cuddles were definitely a bonus of this stay! We were about 10 minute drive from the beach, a few minutes drive from downtown Beaufort, but in a quiet and charming neighborhood. Couldn't have asked for a better stay for a beach vacation!
Janet is an excellent host. She has created a beautiful apartment that is comfortable and well decorated for my family. We especially loved the personal touches such as the bottle of wine and Janet’s special attention to care of our dog, Athena. We plan to return!
What an amazing find! We were treated to a bottle of wine and juice for my 5 year old upon arrival! This cottage apartment has everything you need and more while staying in beautiful Beaufort. The owner has taken time to make sure you have all you need will staying there, from beautiful decor to a kitchenette, linens, and more! Take time to get to know the owner, Janet and her fur baby, Chloe! Janet will welcome you with a smile and give you some great tips on where to go eat, shop and explore! Also, get to know Chloe, Janet’s precious dog. My daughter played fetch with her in the evenings & fell in love with her, you will too! We can’t wait to return!
