Beco Santa Emília 3M is a fully renovated city apartment, ideal for two people.

The apartment is 55 m2 and consists of one bedroom, a living room with a dining table and kitchen and a bathroom. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor and is accessible by elevator and stairs.

The apartment is equipped with a fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, ceramic hob, oven and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, TV with international channels, among other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.



LOCATION

The apartment is located in a quiet street close to the city centre, 300 m from the Town Hall and 750 m from Mercado dos Lavradores. The Old Town, Funchal Marina and seafront are less than 15 minutes away on foot.

Nearby there are cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, grocery stores, wine cellars, shops, museums, pharmacies and clinics.

Although a car is not necessary, there are two public car parks 140 m from the building. Free parking possible at night and weekends in nearby streets.

The Aerobus stop is at 850 m. There are bus stops 150 m away and by car there is easy access to Funchal's main roads and the highway to discover the island.



REMARKS

Cleaning is done before check-in and there is weekly cleaning, which includes a change of bed linen and towels.

Due to the island's climate, insects can occur unexpectedly. To avoid attracting insects, it is important to clean up leftover food and keep food well packaged.

People who are sensitive to mosquito bites are advised to use insect repellent when travelling around the island.

There are security cameras in the common areas of the building outside of the apartment.



CONDITIONS

1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.

2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.

3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival time is available via a key lockbox whose code is created and sent on the day of arrival. For face-to-face check-in, it is necessary to schedule the time and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.

4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.

5. Any malfunctions, incidents or faults in the initial cleaning must be reported as soon as they are detected so that they can be checked and addressed in a timely manner during the stay. Issues reported late for the sole purpose of obtaining a refund will not be considered.

6. Guests must inform about allergies, conditions or special needs before or immediately after booking in order to verify compliance and appropriate measures to be taken.

    This apartment was exactly as described, with lots of light. The entire place was clean and well-taken care of with only the 2nd day appearance of a noxious smell in the bathroom sink drain, which appeared to be outside the control of the hosts.The communication with Fatima and Felipe was excellent with them being willing to accommodate an early arrival and/or the storing of luggage. All went well and Fatima met us at the door with the keys and a brief tour. We also required an extra set of linens and that was delivered promptly within a very short span of time. The location was within walking distance of everything and within driving distance to everything Madeira including the airport. Parking was conveniently in a 24hr garage one block from the apartment and Fatima provided a list of additional parking structures that were possibilities. Just be prepared for steep, narrow and tight turns in the parking garages. Rent a tiny car!I would highly recommend this premier host to anyone wanting a place to stay in Funchal.
