Cozy and fun.
The minute we walked into the apartment, we were very pleased. The cleanliness and the overall order of the property was exactly what we needed. There were two of us and our dog, we had plenty of room. We enjoyed our five nights, and definitely did not want to go home. We took walks every day and night in the neighborhood. The people in the neighborhood are extremely friendly, love the southern hospitality. We never had a problem with locking or unlocking the door, the automatic door lock was appreciated. The trains were cool, we enjoyed just sitting and watching them. We did bring a large floor fan to cover up the noise while we were sleeping.
We had a wonderful time and the property was perfect. It was very clean and nice and we actually enjoyed the trains. It was a great size for the weekend.
Had a wonderful time. Some of the comments said the door kept jamming but that isn’t the case. I have one of the digital locks at home. All you do it pull the door towards you while locking or unlocking the door. So no issues. Train didn’t wake me. And the lighting the the room was wonderful. I will definitely be staying again!
Perfect stay, hostess Christina was very attentive with communicating and making us feel welcomed. Clean, comfortable and cozy unit with a quiet neighborhood including peaceful neighbors with all necessary travel to and from beach or the boardwalk being simply down the street and less than 3 miles We misplaced the house key and Christina’s Dad dropped in being so pleasant and accommodating as he assured us they had another key and could replicate it so we were free to stop stressing. Overall 5 I’d stay here again if returning to Mississippi
The studio apt. itself was nice & clean with plenty of clean linens & supplies. Bed was extremely comfortable. But the railroad track was approximately 60’ away. The daytime trains didn’t bother us; we could handle them. But very single night 3-4 trains would come thru starting around 11 pm & continue up to approximately 4 am each morning. Most were very loud & heavy- some had as many as 6 engines. My husband retired from the railroad & he said he had never heard of 6 engines & going so fast thru neighborhoods. Several reviews mentioned the trains; but we had NO idea there would be running all night or I would never have booked it. We are both young at heart (77 & 79); but definitely needed our rest at night after spending each of 4 days @ our grandson’s World Series Baseball. & need our rest. We came home totally exhausted.
Just needed a little break- wfh life allows me to get out of the city when I need to. This property was lovely and exactly right for a chill stay. The neighborhood and area were wonderful- was able to walk to the beach every day and walk my dog around the neighborhood. Was please with how easy everything was and would recommend to others!
Awesome stay!!
Only issue was key pad entry messed up. Had to use key. Comfortable enough. No issues.
The room was super clean. I only was there to sleep and shower. The rest of the days I was out. Communication with hosts was excellent. I didnt like the location and couldn't sleep because the kids in other attached room were up playing music very loudly til 4am both nights. The train didn't bother me since I barely slept. If this host had a property in a different area, I would definitely stay with them again.
My dog and I stayed here for two nights, the check in process was a little frustrating due to a door jam but was quickly fixed as soon as I messaged the owner. It kind of freaked me out that there’s a door that leads to the main property in the room but felt safe and comfortable the entire time. They provide nice shampoo and conditioner & water which was really sweet! Would stay here again.
Cozy love it
We stayed in this cute property for one night. It was very clean and well decorated. It is also a PET FRIENDLY property! The only issue we had is that is directly across the street from an active railroad track. We had 3 trains go by starting about midnight. If you can sleep through those, you'll be great staying here! This was the only issue we had, everything else was FABULOUS!
The people who stayed in the other half of the unit had a new born and we could hear the baby crying all night long, could hear the couple arguing and their tv. A train goes by at least 3 times at night and twice in the early morning, shaking the house as it goes it literally feels and sounds like it’s going to crash through the house. It’s clean so that’s a good thing.
Nice cozy room. Bed was comfortable and it was perfect size for what it was needed for. Was not aware of how close to the train tracks it was and the train that came through multiple times during the day and night but it didn’t bother us too much as we were out and about most of the time.
Clean affordable
This was a great place for my wife and I to have a short beach getaway! The property was extremely clean and well maintained. The location wasn't right on the beach, but was very close. The nearby downtown had several great spots for brunch. If you plan to relax at the beach and eat out every meal, this is a fantastic spot for you on the MS gulf coast!
