Stayed Nov 26, 2024Based upon the title and reviews we expected this VRBO to be a perfect fit for my daughter and myself (to the point that I question VRBO's rating system, how could this unit be almost 5 stars overall?). The location is questionably safe, it is dark and confusing accessing the property, the code entered did not align per the directions, the shower is old, dirty and my daughter cut herself upon exiting (not safe in my opinion). The owner provided 2 bath towels and 2 face towels for 5 days (no washcloths, extra towels) and when we asked about extra towels he reiterated that that is all that was supposed to be there (unhelpful), so we used hand towels as washcloths. It smells heavily of food as though ventilation is not proper, there is little light, and overall appeared heavily worn and unclean. We moved after 2 nights and I requested money back for the nights we did not stay and the owner/point of contact never replied.

Stayed Dec 10, 2019Clean, convenient and quiet studio with attached bathroom and private entrance within a 10 minute or less walk to Stanford Redwood City Campus. Great for remote staff or visiting colleagues.

Stayed Apr 22, 2019My husband and I stayed for a few nights while I had some doctors appointments and a minor medical procedure. The room was perfectly appointed and had all the basic necessities. It was clean and comfortable. The shower is something that much be experienced to believe. I'd book this place again based on the shower alone!
